I love everything you're doing but save the vents for last.you might realize you dont need them.they will make it look like you overdid it.

i seen so many people photoshop the chop on an s13 and it looks so bad *** every time I see it, can't wait to see a real one. That inverted hatch looks sweet btw. Keep up the good work, im happy this build is finally starting up again.

I was looking at pictures of the kit and I came to find some things I dont like about the back. Just want to show you what I think to see if you like it.

I didnt like how the line that continues from the hatch isnt the same. So on the left I just put a black line to see what it looks like and I thought it looked good. The other thing was in between the tails there isnt much going on. Do you have any ideas what to do there? Also I think putting in the 3rd brake light in would make it look better too.

yeah, i'm not sure i'm doing the vents, I will use black duck tape sometime to see how it looks on the car......i put them there cause it's open behind the wheel, not to mention in front of the wheel..lol...anywho, the airs got to go somewhere right? thought less drag if i make some functional vents ..make sence

i thought about painting that middle piece.....thought about putting a gas cap there(like the race cars, no an eclips).....not sure though, mine won't have that line at all, i liked it there but he glassed it before i could say anything.......

Have been looking at this post ever since I joined the Nissan family. Great work!!! If you do not mind the Ferrarish, then the blacked one looks better imo.

The hatch is going to look awesome.

I like the center vent, I think a nice carbon diffuser would really set off that portion of the car, but I think the side vents are too much.

All the pictures you are posting of the Jacquemond kit are shown with flush wheels, but IMO they are way too skinny for the width of the car. Personally I think its going to take at least a 300 width tire to compliment the rest of the car. On the subject, what are you planning to run for wheels and tires? I dont see stretched tires looking quite right matched with the vehicle, the whole drifter look would just make it look cheap, I think you should go with proper sizing, but Im just rambling.

Good luck man, and keep up the good work.

when you say center vent, you mean the front bumper right? or are you talking about the carbon fiber diffuser in the back?....as far as the side vents, i new they were going to be controversial...but thats what i like about them, some will like and some won't.....i wanted to build the most exotic 240 hatch ever built, i think the side vents are a key factor in that, no body else will prolly have them(to that extent)....I really enjoyed reading all the replies i get with this build......like i said, i don't expect everyone to like everything i'm doing so i don't get mad when someone tells me they don't like something.......and with that said, thanks for all the replies.......keep them coming!

oh yeah....as far as the rims, they are 18x11 in the rear, they're 4 lug, and since they're 3 piece rim, they are pretty light, i do regret the tire size choice though...i am going with a wider tire before the car is done.....i wish i went with a JDM rim company but i've already spent the money on them, if i can sell them, i will.

I meant the rear. I didnt remember if you were planning a diffuser or not, its been so long since you discussed that stuff. I dont think you have to worry about have the most exotic 240 out the, if you can even call it a 240 anymore, I think you've surpassed anything Ive ever seen. As for the side vents, that just me, Im not a big fan of vents period, that just how I am.

18 x 11 is pretty wide, but I think you could go wider though you would have to choose offsets wisely. What width tire do you have.

Any pictures of the wheels?

the car's at the shop, i really don't remember the tire size.....here's a few pics of the rims off and on the car

i think with the suspention done and the car lowered, it's gonna be close, might need a small spacer, don't know untill we do it though

Good choice in wheels, I think those will fit the style very nicely, though as I mentioned before, Im not digging the stretched tires, though I will reserve final judgment till the car is done. As always man, keep up the good work.

well, he got the bumper to fit, i sent him pics of what i want the front to look lik, he sent me back these....

my 4x4

he said the front bumper sits 5'' from the ground, and thats without lowering it, might run intp some trouble there?

ok.......here's another pic, the first pic will be the original, the second pic, lowered, and third, lowered, and chopped!

i can't wait till he actually does the roof, right now he's gonna work on the front vents, wheel wells, back bumper.

not so sure if i like the chopped roof look, but the kit gets a A+....just wondering, why didn't you get the version of the kit with the bumper that already looks like that.

Next time you get a chance, Could you take some pics from the interior looking at the hatch? I'm interested to see what you will see when backing up/ looking for traffic behind you and in the blind spots. If it doesn't completely block views through the quarter windows, I'd think about getting this for my own hatch.

This is some serious quality of craftmanship. I'm very impressed.
