Well just remember, I'm no where near done, I just started today, I only claybarred half the car, if that...The rear dents I may try to tap out when I can get the wheel off, which means the car must start. I will still need to throw on wax yet, and the roof needs to have something done.

Hey dude, Keegan just taught me the way of wiring harnesses. We just busted most of this thing out tonight. We deleted a TOOON of useless wire and the thing looks gooood.

Don't worry, though, that's not finished. It still needs to be loomed and put in the car.

no techflex for this one. keeping it OEM style and just doing a high-grade split loom. aka the way nissan SHOULD have done it.

joel, i figured youd like this update.

the coolant sensor mini harness is fine living at your house. i routed the main plug to end up right where that harness will end.

also i relocated the ignitor chip to the interior side of the harness, as you can see

one less thing in the bay = one step cleaner.

im taking measurements tonight of how much/what type of loom itll take to wrap this thing up.

basically its 95% done right now. im super stoked with the layout i got. its gonna sit real cleanly in the car.

Yeah Keegan, you guys got me all excite now. I'm freaking pumped that this is progressing so smoothly. My other car forum for my Mag has a bunch of guys giving me crap, until i showed them this thread, and they were like, wow, they know what they are doing...LOL. Appreciate all the help.

Amazin' update man, I think it's good enough w/o loom but I'm just partial to that for some reason I'm likin' the ignitor inside the car. Does the ignitor case need to be bolted down for a better ground or is it non necessary?

Just for later on down the road, exhaust gaskets for referance, because the current ones r leaking: T25 flange gasket replaced at the same time as well niconauts this is how ya do it.I's reccomendss the mrgasket one hehe.http://www.frsport.com/MRG-Cop....html

Have a good turkey day all, gonna go eat again hehehee.

you CAN bolt it in... not totally necessary tho. wouldnt hurt, but wouldnt necessarily benefit either.

things went pretty smoothly id say, ill have to doublecheck all the lengths once i get to his car, but from memory, it should be super close. the only snag we might have would be to free some of the sub-harnesses from the main loom and adjust to length.

My god you do excellent work, I'm so pumped for this. Can't wait to get it in the car and then start the lower harness lol. I can't wait to hear this sr start up again. oh and Keegan, I know I've been asking for a lot of help, but can you find me a link or set me up with like 5ft or more of that hard lined vacuum tubing for the boost gauge.

thank you sir. and to think... this was only 5 hours of work really. and that included me teaching doug the process of swap wiring.

and the looming took all of 30 mins today.

like i said previously. its the most detangled SR harness ive worked on to date... whoever the little JDM lady is that made the harness did it super cleanly.

lower harness i picked up tonight on my way home. no mods necessary for that.

fuel pump is a whole 'nother animal. that i will have to wire once i get to your car. no real way to prep that ahead of time.

Updatesss!!! So Last night I was at a party, and I was in the midst of texting a girl, when I got a text Keegan. Sadly, I was more excite about Keegan's text then the girls, and she was sending me pics of her in her bra, thats how excite i was. Keegan is coming over friday to plug/play with the harnesses and work on the fuel pump wiring. Also, I'm even more excite today, because the morning started with me meeting Josh, HBpignose, and getting that 25 amp fusible link, thanks again Josh. Then I got home, was sitting around talking with my parents about the news I got from Keegan, when I heard a knock at the door, this is what the fedex lady handed me!!!!

Oh and I bought that clear vacuum hose over at advanced auto, they didnt have the stuff I wanted, so that is probably going back, Keegan again, being the true dude he is, is going to hook me up with some good stuff. Tom was saying he may come over sunday afternoon to help me finish tucking the wires in the fenders. We'll see, but i'm excited none the less.

lol man you're funny. Gettin' excite all the time eh?

That sunpro plastic tube looks like it'll do the trick just fine man. Sunpro gauges are pretty shisty, but how hard is it to fuk up a plastic vac tube lol. Looks fine but I'd wanna see what others use... Keegan's prob gonna make u use a hardline and... show us all up lol, but not necessary son, and more weight.

Wanna see that in the car soon this should be really fun if you're going with a vertical setup! U can at least pick out where u wanna mount it and maybe cut the console a bit if u have to.Pretty sure im coming home early sunday so see u then.

Well, little baby update.... Did some more waxing today, only got one pic for all of you. I removed some audio wire and an amp control unit. I vacuumed the car out, and cleaned up the hatch. I started waxing the car, I will keep at it until I get it perfect, but all this paint is good except the passanger rear quarter. I started the roof. Dante and the others can attest to how bad it was....It is hazy and has huge swirls where the guy left wax on it or something. Either way, I started the roof, and Tom showed up to help me tuck the accessory wires on the passanger side fender. We are making progress.... I hope to see it start friday. I gotta get some vacuum hose as well. Can't wait, and here is the pic.

rebuild your OEM one with fresh bushings/clips/washers for cheaper and it will feel factory fresh.

ebay shifters are terrible. toms is the ONLY one i know of that held up at ALL.

and thats ONE... out of how many sold....
