If your like me just take your time, dont worry bout driven it. The last thing you want to do is break the frame to the point of no return. I havent drove my car in almost 2 months.[IMG][/IMG]

This is my daily driver i cant wait to get back in my car because of the gas prices but im not gonna rush the car.

Jeff, I want it, the sooner the better, I dont know what could get in the car with it sitting outside, so the sooner I put the skull over top of the brain the better, if you catch my drift. I'm available friday 9am-3pm, and Sunday all day. Ask Tom for my cell, I dont wanna post it on here, and Nico apparently never hooked up a PM system on here. I also have a question for Keegan, if you see this, you wouldn't happen to have a spare yellow/brownish 25 amp fuse from the engine bay fuse box laying around I could buy off you?

Here is a quick pic of what I need for everyone else as well....

Ok Jeff, sunday works best for me anyways, as I know I'll have homework to do one of those days, so I'll have Tom give you my cell number and we can figure out a meeting place and price then.

i have a MINT, untouched JDM SR harness... i was planning to mod for dante... lemme know if you need it done. i dont wanna go crazy w/ it, but id make it CLEAN... think routing of jeffs, materials of toms. aka regular loom, not a crazy tuck, but hidden.

Thanks Keegan for looking in advance, ummmm, I'll talk to you about that SR harness on friday, I'll call ya sometime in the afternoon unless that doesnt work for you. I'm just curious how hard it would be to swap the harnesses out while the engine is still in the car itself.

Ok guys, I need some advice, I was looking at Ebay shifters, as I'd like to just buy a new short throw vs. the stock shifter, which has a missing bushing, I have about a 1.25 inch diameter loop of play in just first gear alone. Here were the three I was looking at, I'm nervous about putting in the ones with the plate only because I don't want to have to drop the trans, Tom said its possible to do, and I believe him, just dont wanna drop a bolt. Here were the three I was looking at.... If anyone of these are pure junk let me know.

I was leaning towards the middle link or the last one.

NO EBAY SHORT SHIFTERS.

NONE.

rebuild your OEM one with fresh bushings/clips/washers for cheaper and it will feel factory fresh.

ebay shifters are terrible. toms is the ONLY one i know of that held up at ALL.

and thats ONE... out of how many sold....

id get it running first, and then get a quote on fixing the frame to get rid of the rust.

its already got enough goodies that it will be fun; but a car rotting away is no fun.

Yeah, that is my full intention, I talked with my mechanic yesterday, He said he'd give me the place he uses to get frame and body rust fixed. I'll have a few quotes done after we get her running. But I will probably wait until spring to do that. Everything costs money, and I dont wanna blow all my savings on this car.

Went to the dealership this morning to see what the price would be on this fuse, get ready for this...... he gave me three quotes... because He couldn't tell which would be it, sooo the prices were 30.50, 18.00, or 15.10. I just told him nah I'm good, I'll just visit a junkyard.

Ok so here is an update.....

I got tired of looking at the white hood, so I unbolted the hood and threw it down on the sawhorses. Thanks to Tom (Didderson), I learned how to wetsand a bit. I actually successfully removed all the writing, and was half tempted to leave the hood just plain white, but I just couldn't leave it at that. So I grabbed the paint and went to town. I ran out half way through. So I drove out to pepboys, stand in line for 10 min, to realize I forgot my wallet, so I had to put the can back, drive back home, pick up my wallet, drive back, and buy the paint. I hate spray paint....I can do little stuff with no issues, but I hate painting anything with a gloss finish. I will have to redo this hood someday. It looks like crap, but better then writing and mismatched colors. The car looked like a drift car with the hood off too. I took a few pics. Here they are.

Oh, and tonight Tom is bringing back my ECU casing, Don't know who or why, but one of the previous owners removed the cover to the ECU, I bought Jeff's old one. I also removed the positive terminal from the battery until after I get to the wiring next weekend. Mr. Greeneyes is coming over tuesday, hopefully in his coupe, so I can take a few photos, to lay out a plan for the harness. Thanks Keegan, I really appreciate the help to get this car running right. So thats the update let me know what you think.

Well, today brought some progress. Tom and Keegan came over and helped me tear out the stock sr harness so Keegan could mock up the new harness. We found some really messed up stuff, They can both attest about how bad they wired this car. Keegan also said and is going to help me fix the lower harness, most likely replacing it. Its badddd. The fuel pump, well needless to say, I'm lucky the car started when I first checked it out. I took a few pics during the processes, and one of the coolest pics, is where the harness is completely out, Keegan said thats how clean he plans to make and fit the harness. I also found out that they the previous owners uninstalled quite a few things, like the windsheild washer tank. So I started yanking out all the fluid hoses. Tom and Keegan also told me to replace a few vacuum lines, one of which is the mile and a half long boost gauge hose. I gots alot of work ahead of me, but this car is going to be great once its done. Without a due, here are some pics.

Oh and some bonus and prolly the better pics of the day, Keegan and Tom's 240's.
