I wasn't able to get the car in the garage this weekend so I'll try sometime this week to report back for the M35x guys.

OK, I finally had time to install the aluminum under tray - splash guard….First off, I’d like to give props to TBW for designing and putting a great mod together for the M’s…I saw his work on the G Forums and knew that if he’d make it for the M, it would be a good thing….

The shipping was done quickly and it was sent to me via UPS. I had the package within 3 days after ordering it. The item came packaged really good and wrapped for extra protection.

there are two pieces and the bolts/screws are included. I was getting my oil changed and had the mechanic take out the old plastic under tray and install the aluminum tray…

here are some pix…also, which caught me by surprise when the car was being lowered down, I noticed that the Infiniti emblem that is cut-out of the front piece of the under tray is visible through my lower front mesh grille…I took some photos from the side….nice touch…

I must say, this piece will fit the ‘08 M’s since it is a perfect match to my ’08 sport bumper (I swapped out the ’06 bumper some time ago)….No noise from the engine bay, I think I have better air flow due to the slits and vents in the under tray....enjoy and again, thanks to TBW for making the product for the M!!!

boxed up and arrived in great condition

And an update the M35x, TBW sent me a tray two weeks ago which I tried to install last week. No go.

However, I have sent the tray back to him along with my OEM tray (so I'm rollin trayless right now) and he's going to get one made to fit the X.

Stand by for further updates, X guys.

I'll send a picture later today. What email should I send it to? It's not major and don't think it's a big deal but I'll send it to you just to make sure!

reporting back....I believe I installed my new under tray mid July....it's still holding strong and I've washed the car once already....the cut outs / slits in the tray help dissipate/drain water quickly - there was no 'pooling' of water below the engine, thus no warping or drooping like the stock plastic under tray....

I've also received compliments from shops that put my car on lifts and saw the craftsmanship of the under tray... I'm 100% pleased with the purchase!!

It was hitting the bottom of the oil pan. I have spacers (1/2") coupled with longer bolts should fix issue. Just rear 4 bolts

no not the oil pan, it was a driveway of a pizza hut and for some reason the thing is up on a hill so when I came out the bottom of the undertray actually scraped on the ground. I have not had the heart to look under the car to see how bad it is, but then again I only drive the car on weekends until the kit, new rims, and stereo gets put in.

He was talking about the M45 not what you scraped on. LOL. Most who ar low enough to scrape with the G35 never can tell by looking at it.
