Ilya - you should be receiving a box tomorrow. :)

I fully expect the M35X to be perfect after he double checkes - in which case we can have some made/process orders.

I will take one in powder coat black for the M35X. Thanks for developing the product for the lower volume M35X.

It won't be updated with the parts til I have them from my shop ready to go :) I don't like collecting money until parts are ready to ship.

So once you Meade these few for the X you'll never make them again?

I haven't decided. Such little interest it's not worth my time making them. Certainly not been worth my costs. Very few people showing interest doesn't bode well. I'm making 5 right now. Don't know if I will make more after that.

I will say this...you guys will love this tray.

Coming home from the BBQ meet, I bottomed out on a man hole cover (I think - didn't really know what I hit but I assume that's what it was) somewhere in Hoboken, NJ. I got home and looked under the car at the tray and that thing didn't even have a dent. Pretty sure the tray is what hit, don't think it was the middle/rear of the car.

I love it. Will be changing the oil for the first time in a week or so. So happy to not have to take apart the entire underside of the front end haha.

----

As for the limited production...guys, this is what happens when there is no support for the vendor. John has worked quite hard to get this made for you and has spent a ton of money on sending me a few versions...give back to him by buying them! They are great! Honestly one of the best things I've done to the car because it's stronger/sturdier than the plastic tray, and much more efficient (time wise) for oil changes. As a bonus, it looks great.

As soon as they are ready to be shipped I will let you guys know. You can order through the website. It will be the same as the M35 RWD version. Hoping to have at least a few of them ready to go tomorrow or monday at the latest.

I have been looking to replace my under tray for a while now. It is just laying in the backyard all beat up. You are a genius. I would love to order one for my 06 M35x. Will there be any on the website anytime soon? Thanks :dblthumb:

I remember that at least a dozen M guys declared that they would buy this when it was made available. I even made a list....

I'm not sure how many followed through with the purchase...a few balked at the price, but it is quite reasonable for what you are getting. Excellent quality and looks so much better.

The M45 version isn't as convenient as the M35x one - can't get to the oil filter without taking the back shield off, but still better than the whole thing!!!
Plus, way sturdier than the OEM plastic sh*t piece

They will be up on the website shortly - not as of yet though.

I'm not overly concerned about how many get purchased. I just know that in the future people might decide they want one and I don't know if I will keep a supply of them at all.

They will be $165+ shipping. Shipping is generally a flat $15 for lower 48 states.

Thanks for cutting these for our AWD models. If you ever think of building other parts such as engine covers or perhaps a shield that covers the entire bottom I'm in :)
