To most of us old people any stretch is stupid. Now get off my lawn.

I don't have a consult cable :( Never wired one in with the swap. Pretty sure, iirc that is, that the 89-90 models didn't have one anyway. I need to pick one up from a part-out. I'd like to use Nistune when it comes time, plus it beats pulling the ECU out and checking for codes. As for tires, I guess I'm old too. I currently have 225/45 on all four wheels, but I had to buy new wheels, and they are staggered now, so I'll get 215's on the front and 235's on the back next time around. Wheels are 17x7 front and 17x8 back, so no stretch for me.

More meat ftw!

If I'm buying wider wheels, I'm not sticking to stock tire width. :P

Here are my wheels:

I know, I know, but I've always liked 5zigen fn's and I couldn't pass up FRsport's combo deal. They were $700 shipped. When I had tires installed on the old wheels, I found out one was bent. Two of the others had paint overspray from the previous owner who didn't cover them good enough when he painted the car. So, I got these bc I needed new wheels & the price was right :) Wasn't so sure about the finish, but I think they look good on a white car. As for the ride height, I have to park in a parking deck at work, so I had to raise the car up. I rides better now than it did when it was lower. The car is dirty too btw.

Wow, that is a lot of stretch Josh lol. 10's are good for 255-285's.

Looking good Casey, though I've never been a fan of the propped hood look. I think I'm going to get a Taurus e-fan for the 240. Don't want it overheating once the A/C is reinstalled, plus the fan pulls more air than the altimas do. I really need to buy a 1-2k beater since the escort died so that I can work on my 240 as well and not have to worry about having it put back together and running within a few days.

Freaking sweet dude! DD is definitely nice. Since i'm dd'ing mine right now, i haven't had the chance to install some new parts and put the A/C stuff back in, bc i have to drive it everyday lol. hoping to find a decent beater for a few grand.

I cut the AC out of my first Skyline...I bought a second Skyline not to long after. Unless it's a track car, AC is a requirement imho. I mean it's 2011, we should enjoy climate control ffs...lol. In fact, I want AC while I'm on the track.

Congrats Chris, were the other drivers just no good or :chuckle:

:tongue

Haha thanks guys! WD...you're right, the other drivers sucked :( Haha the top 8 actually had all good drivers, the guy I lost to had a much cleaner line through the back half of the course, even though I started my entry wayyy earlier. Videos will be up soon, there were 2 go-pros on my car and some videos being shot from the stands.

Yeah, i've been putting off re-installing the A/C bc i haven't had to drive the car everyday until now. I still don't want it to be my daily. I plan on keeping it for a long time and would prefer to use it as a backup/weekend/fun car. If i decide to get a beater, AC will wait, if not it'll go back in now. If i wasn't paying for school out of pocket (it sucks now, but at least I won't have interest to pay), i'd do both right now. Chris, I can't watch your vids bc i'm at work :(

I liked the caption, "stock body, good wheels, some low, sometimes this is all you need" If he thinks your car is only "some low" i guess I would be laughed at. Car does look very nice Adrian.
