Found a coin holder for S13 today in junkyard. First time I'd seen one in person. Now if I want to put it in my Vert or not.

:rotfl

I have one of those in my car.
Its the one that goes on the gauge cluster surround right?

It's pretty useless, the coins make an annoying sound as it rattles around in there.

Yeah, just something to put in instead of the blank ones, currently my O/D Off one is still in there, though I had found another blank one to replace it, just didn't get it in yet.

I still have my O/D off light, if I remember I'll look for another blank panel next time I'm at the yard. I've never seen a coin holder before, I'll check for one of those too haha.

The coin holder was about the only thing useful on this '90 hatch that I found. Rad support was touching strut towers and they were touching the firewall. Bad front end wreck.

Yeah, I never get good deals on parts. Everything that is close by (junkyards) either don't have parts I need/want or they charge an arm-&-a-leg. As you get closer to ATL most of the useful stuff is horded by shops and a handful of people. They are coming down on their asking prices though (usually) bc people are holding on to their money

Tried to put 2 car seats into the S14 today...it ended with me cursing and tossing the booster seat as far as I could while inside the back of the car. I actually got good distance :chuckle:

Car started running a bit sluggish today esp. when trying to accelerate :/ Think i've got an injector/s stuck open bc it's been running pig rich again (it originally stopped this after i installed the adjustable FPR) and i've been getting horrible gas mileage lately. Idles fine, doesn't run hot, and i've got good vacuum. Dunno, i'll have time to check things over next week though.

I'd check that before pulling injectors.

CTS is brand new and is the correct one for the S13 SR (the part number on the packet it came in matched the OEM number on the SR parts list), MAFS is good as well w/good connection, timing is good. Haven't checked knock sensor, coils, or TPS yet. When i started having bad mileage last fall (iirc), that's when I installed a new O2 sensor and CTS and set the timing. It only did it during that one trip yesterday, and it was fine on the way home, except for a single sluggish bit. I'll have to look over everything next week. Could even be a sticking wastegate :gotme

check the resistance in the injectors, it should be around 12 ohms. From what I've read the knock sensor doesn't have any effect on the driveablility of the car except low loads/closed loop IIRC
