kid in my school was talking to me about running down at the summer duck, an 1/8 of a mile track in VA, and was tellin me that his car would probly run mid 7's and that my car would probly run like low 11's...wtf...i find out he has a 96 or 95 civic HX , with an intake and exhaust, im like what a dumbass, i could beat him with his little mods in my car the way it is now...its something about civics that make the owners think theyre fast in almost stock form:rolleyes at least in my town anyways

I look over to see a mid 90s accord with a huge wing,and altezza lights, dropped w' stock rims.
I just laughed and went back in to Krispy Kreme and bought another hot glazed.

Has anyone read the letters section of the newest SCC? There's one guy in there who writes in and says "Will an RB26DETT fit into the VTEC engine bay of my 93 Prelude so I can make more power?" SCC editors say : "no" and thats it 
I thought it was rather funny...oh well, at least he realizes he needs nissan power to really get anywhere!

I pulled my ichigo face out of storage this weekend and the first time I stopped at the shop a ricer rolls in and says " Dam, that skyline is awesome , who's is it?" we all looked at each other and then realized he was talking about my car and started to laugh.
Also when it comes to the ENZO and the LAMBO's you pay for build quality and materials. Most of those are hand made and exotic leathers and metals are used. Besides its an EXOTIC!!

not to mench the carbon fiber body adn interior, craftsmanship, and the time! LOL those one guy said in my auto tech class that the new enzo is slow running with 660hp and only pulling times of 12.0 in th 1/4. IM like "are you high or just plain out stupid. First off the new enzo runs like 11.6-.8, second the car is n/a, third, the car is italian which classifies it as a eruopean car. Beign a eruopean, the builders wanted a car thart could handle like a dream. they wanted to be as close to a F1 car as possible. To them a 1/4 of a mile means nothing! To them it's all about how fast you can go without lossing control of your car in any sircumstances." and then the kid goes, "it's a ferraria it should run like 9's stock" and thats when i left the room.
I don't hate people. I hate stupid people...
Isn't it curious that in the tuner comunity, ignorance seems to be directly proportional to how low they claim their time slips to be in the 1/4?
And when will people learn that drag racing is not the only form of racing. In drag racing, the only skill you need is to react quickly and be precise in your shifts. Drag racing is not the best measure of how good a driver you are, it just prooves that you can reach the floor with the pedal and you can drive in a straight line. If you want to see the real test of a driver, try autocross, roadracing, rally, and probably the hardest test of all endurance racing. Then you will see who is legit and who is not.

I gave him a greasy look and said "Those two are horn buttons, and those two are for sequential gear changes." He said "Nah nah, they're nitrous buttons" So I pointed to the little "horn" symbol on the button and said "See the horn?" He looked and mumbled something...
So I wandered over to this other Toyota race demo car, thinking I'd done something good by pushing the FATF knowlege out of his head.

I had a ricer come running up to my car after he heard my blowoff, I had the hood up after coming into the meet. His first question "is that an SR20DET?"
"no"
"RB20DET" *more excited*

"RB25DET" *very excited now*

"OMG It's an RB26...." *jumping up and down screaming*
"NO! it's a CA18DET bored 1mm over with a 60-1 turbo, HKS...."
*cutting me off mid sentence* "oh, never heard of it" *walks away*

Anyway, he looks at it and says "Mannn, that ****s ****'in stupid yo. At the shows I go to, they got these smoke machines with the strobes and ****....that ****s hot yo!"

my buddy has some gay rice, he's got a 97 sebring, its red, stock on the outside, except for a dumb twin tip mufler, the generic kind that slants the tips upwards, and a silver grill inserted into the bumper intake for the radiator, he got the thing tinted, i put some lighting into the car, but anyways, he's all happy cause he got an AEM intake for it, which i installed, cause the kid knows nothing about cars, and i mean NOTHING, so he put AEM stickers on his car, in addition to the stickers on his windows from local shops, and the license plate holders, anyways, its your typical ricer "200hp" setup, but on an american car, and i see girls driving sebrings everywere, and this kid is big and all, its so so discusting, not to mention, he raced me, lol, and his car died

I have a friend like that, but I made the mistake of telling him to buy a WRX. The guy knows squat about cars, so I started choosing what stuff to put on the car. His goal was to have a car that could beat lancer evos when he went back to his country (Panama).
We started with an injen intake, then he saw another WRX with an STi cat-back, so he went for that one. After I told him it was excesively expensive. Then I made the mistake of talking about boost controllers. He got a Greddy boost controller.
Obsessed with the looks of the car he went and got the Maurette headlamps(like the ones on the Sparco WRX) and he got some OZ Superleggaras.
To get to the point, the deal was that when we went to a track he would let me drive it... Well, he d!cked me over, said that I was kissing his *** because he had a kick a$$ car and that he would never let me drive it. He also said that I would never have a car as fast as his. It was this last comment that convinced me to buy a 240sx. I want a 240, because I like them, they are great looking cars and have good performance, and I can get an SR20 swap.
I just want to beat his A$$ and I will be at peace again.

wow your ricers are REALLY stupid.
sadly there is a riced out 240SX in cheyenne. whats worse its been SR swapped and had a silvia conversion done. then the owner tacked on a hideous body kit, stickers galore and a HUGE wing.
cheyenne is infested with rice. and not just hondas. lets see. there are a bunch of riced out neons and j-bodies now. several riced out foci. the typical crop of honduhs. numerous sentras (even an 02 spec V). the 240 i mentioned previously. an NX2000. several MR2s. a mazda MP3 (this one is probably the riciest car in cheyenne - the owner runs a graphics place that makes ricer graphics and the MP3 is a rolling advertisment). a couple of FC RX7s. and an assload of DSMs

GO figure :rolleyes And another ricer at my school has a big wing on his ecplise 6cyl and all this other **** and im like you really need that rear wing for the FWD car....hes like...it helps me go though the corners faster....im like yeah....ok....Also me and my friend have momo steering wheels everyone thinks we have NOS even though it has a horn symbol on it... :rolleyes
