Has anyone tried to disable the switch's "lock" feature? By this I mean make the switch so it never stays in the forward position. This way you can just push it to where you want it instead of double clicking it to the spot you want. Maybe a rotary switch to "dial" the lights to the right height?

Pivot has a switch with a rotary dial which will stop the lights at a desired height.

Anyway...for the person who said HP is increased because more air is getting through the headlights...regardless of air flow going into the stock airbox, HP is not going to increase if you are using an OEM air filter. OEM air filters are made out of paper and only allow soo much air past them. Other things to take into concideration are the Mass Air Flow sensor, fuel injectors and the spark plugs.
