You put down Megan racing, but no Stance, KTS, or Powered by Max. You should search those ones as those are the ones most people on here will mention.

what are you doing with the car that will require coilovers??

if you only want to slam it then just grab the Megans, for occasional track any of the others mentioned are good choices.....why if you know all those companies make quality coilovers, and price isnt an obstacle obviously, cant you make your own decision about what YOU will be happy with on YOUR car?

well basically i want to know if any of them are just brand name and no good. i am going to do the z32 upright swap as well. i am leaning towards the JIC. it will see occasional track duty. but i want to make sure i get some unbiased comparos before i buy.

and quick question. when i get the z32 uprights in would i have to buy coilovers for the z32 or will the s14 coilovers work? i saw the install tech article but it didnt specify. and im ready to dish out big bucks only once.

You buy the s14 coilovers.

But you have to buy the bottom bracket for the z32 uprights.

Some companies will swap it to the z32's for free.

i am sorry but if you choose megan over these above then i think you should just get some sleeves and just call it a day because if i was going to spend some money on some megan then i rather be riding on sleeves instead. Sorry for the flame but thats just how i feel about them

KTS coils from http://www.splparts.com has the z32 option when ordering the coilovers. Plus if you end up buying regular s14/s13 coils and switch to z32 uprights down the road, they will sell you just the bottom piece of the coil over. They're very nice/easy to deal with and have awesome products -Shameless plug for SPL.

JIC magic. For sure.

Little side fact - the suspension you order from NISMO for our vehicles (and I believe the 350Z) is practical JIC stuff.

If I had bottomless pockets I would get those DG-5 coils by Tsuchiya.

K Sport is more like Gay Sport.

They "suck" and will "blow" in less than 6 months. Guaranteed.

Silkroads are definitely sick coils, but I don't know many people who could afford a set of Zeals. What's wrong with Cusco? I would get a set of those in a heartbeat.

wow dude those dg5s are pretty sweet but they are a bit beyond my budget. my cap is roughly 2grand 2.5 would be stretching it, thats why i put in hks and cusco, they are right at the end of my budget cap. the dg5 coilovers converted to usd are close to 3 grand. and converted to cad its over 3 gs. thats why i left out the moton stuff. too expensive. im leaning towards the JIC, by the specs they seem to be similar to the cusco and hks units but about a 100bucks less.
