its gorgeous because the wheels are you could go that low with most coilovers. the op seems to be more interested in performance not looks so he will probably go with a traditional coilover not airbag.

ok so i have finalized my choices now. fully dyno matched set of konis with ground control sleeves, and eibach springs. i want recommendations on the spring rates please. i think that will cost me 2 grand max initially, and i have a nicely matched set that works nicely.

and i am taking the stock car to a couple local events this summer. i know it would be expensive, but racing is my dream. so its going to happen for sure. i dont quit that easily on my dreams.

6 inch drop? wow thats too much lol. and how well do the pbms do in the tracks. from reading articles im kinda sold on the konis unless i can get me a set of bilsteins to fit.

speaking of which. can you run bilsteins?

holy crap those penskes are crazy expensive.(not to the level of ohlins or motons but still damn.) plus i cant run it because they dont have any apps specifying the 240.

and ohlins and motons are out of question. too crazy. but im really hoping i can make a set of bilstein work. cuz i heard they are much easier to take apart and put together.

and if you say sachs this would literally happen right now

You COULD get PBMs, take that extra $1k and buy other suspension parts...

not everyone is as cool as you, and knows how to set this up...

you should do a write up, that would be useful.

is there any existing brackets that fits it?

and that would mean that the z32 stuff would be easier to put in.

You don't even have coilovers do you? So you for sure don't have room to talk crap on stances, my stances have been through more crap then you could imagine. Please know what your talking about before you talk crap on something!!

zerothread?id=405903 zerothread?id=397604

Thats the only ones i felt like posting, GO TO THE BIG SEARCH BUTTON AND TYPE IN COILOVERS, and up will come 10 pages of threads about coilovers

yes and all of them ask about the cheapest crap you can buy. i dont want any of that. i want something that performs solidly on the track, and can be redamped in five minutes and driven on the streets.

so apparently im a retard for not mentioning stances? ok im guessing stance makes their dampers in house? and can i get shock dyno graphs on all 4 of them? and can i also see how well the adjusters work? for both rebound and compression?

number one, not all ten of those pages were people askin about the cheapest ones they can buy.

and 2, you put megan racing on the poll and they don't have any of the things you just mentioned.

and 3, I'm pretty sure that all of that is not that important when YOU go to the track, and If you think so, maybe send a little more time behind the wheel.

i put mgan racing in there because a local shop uses those a lot. i know now they suck. and not to go near that shop.

and as far as i saw almost none asked for what i was asking.

and for your number 3, which timeattack, autocross, or any similar form of competition did you enter? and how well did you place? plus please i would like to know some numbers. not to be knocking on stance cuz i know they are good and am wondering how it slipped my mind. but can you show me the grip related championships aquired by them? and if possible send me a link to a matched dyno graphs. im looking myself but why not ask for extra help?

oh and lastly can stance swap the rear bottom brackets off the z32 as i am doing the z32 rear upright conversion?

Oh and this beast uses stance. http://www.stance-usa.com/sus/...1.jpg

Oh and sorry I don't do much other than drifting and dragging, but I've done a auto-x and i really wanna start time attack.I was just thinkin you were a noob.

no i need a good and i mean a really good set of coils for my 240 without going into ohlins territory. stances do seem good. i want to make sure their adjuster works though. because i will be using it. and i will be recording that data later for reference to the setup i will use for my r32 which would have a ridiculous set of sachs.

that s14 is pretty badass

the konis seem to be more hassle than they are worth if you ask me. bilsteins im not getting much feedback from them and im not trying crazy new things on this car. if i dont get much more feedback and the adjuster actually works the way its supposed to i just might pick up a set of al pros.

If you dont feel like assembling a koni yellow setup you can contact veilside180sx to do it for you. I think he posts on nico, zilvia, ka-t.org and http://nissanroadracing.com/vbulletin/index.php. He knows pretty much everything you need and want to know how to setup a koni yellow setup on a S-chassis and I think he can assemble a setup for a fee.

Dude, get ahold of SR20goofus on 240SX Forums. He runs track events with NASA and I believe is an instructor. He's running Stance. He likes Koni's. Stance also sponsors him. Do the math.

Hit up J-rho on SCCA forums, and ask him what he thinks about coilovers. The guy spend $20,000 on an S13 240SX, one of the fastest KA-T's in autocross. He didn't skimp on anything, if Stance's were so good, why did he pick Koni?

Go to NissanRoadRacing and ask this same question. You'll get answers from people who actually spend time on track, instead of a bunch of wannabe drifters and bench racers (of which I am).
