well of course you would wanna race like that your car has got to have a stupid amount of top end speed with that high of a gear...im sure you could pull over 200 if you could keep it glued to the road...you planning on doing bonneville or something? i bet you get hella good gas mileage too...

i run the NA z32 vlsd which is the same as the stock gear set but i been thinkin about gettin a differant set but im thinkin about goin with the 4.4...im not interested in highway pulls though...im all about the 1/4

damn 2.90 gears tho? unless this is a highway only car, i dont see the use of gears that long. You have to bog out like a mofo with gears that long.

I love that diff set up.would go for the vlsd but I think thats the reason you haven't spin out att top gears. The 411 type will push more torque and thats not good on this light cars(remember 700hp).I think he found the solution for diff on a s chasis. The vsld won't let all the torque get to the wheels.........yep its a fcking good set up.I was looking for a set up like that ever since I started this build.I was going to use the z32 tt since it has longer gear ratios and the j30 also looked like a good option.Ls1 I think thats the diff you also need.Your car pushes torque like crazy..............How the fck do you find a rb25de diff or pumpkin?

i personally think its too low a gear ratio. i heard the g35 diff is a 3.30 ratio which i think is an r200 aswell and would work well for you especially on the drag radials.
