Minor points, all, but:

I don't like that you can't see the Artist and Title of a song at the same time on XM.I don't like that when you raise the driver's seat using the power seat button, it also pitches the seat bottom angle forward, making me feel like I'm sliding forward.I don't like the way the recirculate feature works -- it seems to have a mind of its own, although I know it's following some form of logic.I don't like the fact that the window and lock switches aren't lit at night.I don't like the lack of storage cubbies in the front, although I know---the glove box is huge.I don't like the lack of a redundant turn signal light, like on the side mirrors or built into the front side fender.I don't like the lack of backup sensors, especially with such a small rear window.

That said, I DO LOVE 99.9% percent of the ROGUE!!!!!

Despite how much I love the Rogue, there are some things I'm leaving behind that I miss, and some things the Rogue really should have.

- Backup camera / sensor.- Heated mirrors / seats on non-leather- Better radio display (rotating radio data, artist/song title for XM, etc)- Climate control- Option for navigation- Paddle shifters should be mounted relative to dash, not to wheel (try changing gears in the middle of a sharp turn)- Reconfigurable cargo area. The pop up is great, but some things just don't fit.- Bluetooh A2DP for music playing! (more of a feature request)

Despite these, I still love my Rogue.

The Rogue is an exceptional vehicle and I am very pleased with it however it does have a couple minor issues:

Radio - Better DisplayE Brake Location - Might be better in the centre consol or up a bitAuto Headlamps - I didn't think they even made vehicles with out this featureLit lock/Unlock buttons - My 06 Maxima doesn't have this either.Power Adjustment for the front of the seatArm Rest rear seats - Just would be nice for the kidsAnd the biggest.....Why don't they include the cross rails for the roof rack??? Real functional as is...Duh!

1) Would love to see lit buttons for the door lock/unlock and window lock2) Passenger one touch auto up/down3) Daytime running lights (not the xenons, but seperate bulbs so the xenons don't burn out that much faster..)4) Locking fuel filler flap and/or cap or remote release flap5) Bigger trip gauge, it's nice to have but it's so small and finding the reset/cycle button in the dark is not fun, and you can get your arm caught in the steering wheel, the 350Z has the cycle buttons on the side of the gauge pod, this is a much better design!6) 0 degree fold flat rear seats with durable backs and durable cargo floor (rear seats don't quite fold totaly horizontal and the cargo floor and rear seat backs are flimsy, I wouldn't haul too much weight on them)7) Remote Control rotating laser turret cannon on roof...ok, had to see if anyone was reading...but I wouldn't balk at one! So far, it seems people won't get out of the way, and I've been feathering the throttle during breakin! It's that CVT dangit..the Rogue just glides forward and continues to accelerate from stop lights and I'm afraid I'll hit cars in front of me that lose momentum when they change gears! Can't think of much else offhand, it's a great vehicle and the wife and I are commuting with it in 40 degree weather, those heated seats rock! My Beagles love it too!

-No Backup camera or sensor-Not a fan of the digital fuel gauge, prefer analog.-Xenon headlights not offered in Canada

Otherwise it's fantastic. We'll see how it is once the snow hits.

Did you know you can use the shifter to change "gears" manualy? You just pull the shifter to the left and pull back to downshift and push forward to upshift.

Yes I know that, but when I've got such a cool paddle shifter somewhere on the wheel, I'd much rather use it than going all the way back down to the shifter in the middle of a turn. Having my hands on or close to the wheel gives me better control of the car while I'm turning, it would just be nice to have the shifter available to me so that I can make the change without searching for the paddle or going down to the shifter.

OK, just wanted to be sure you and others realized this shifting option on the Rogue, can't disagree with your logic.

Thought of a few more:

- No remote window down - great for hot days- No remote pop up for hatch - its electric, why not?- One touch window up

I admit, I'm getting desperate. Most of these are things that I'm missing about my Honda Accord

For those of us with kids the biggest problem is the rear headrests do not raise up. This means if you us the LATCH system you have to pull the strap over the top of the headrest to reach the teathers in the back. That really does a nasty job on the headrests.

I have the S model AWD and I really think its ridiculous that I dont have a light in the rear cargo area. I would even be happy with the cabin lights remaining on while the rear door was open. I know its an S model but please! Basic lighting for unloading groceries should not be a luxury!

Really really really stupid. Unless there is a light back there that I cant find and then... Im really stupid.

All in all, I do love my Rogue so far.

I don't think the S model has the light on the cargo hatch like the SL. On your dome lights front and rear check the switch on the light itself on my SL the switch has 3 options, off, on all the time (or till it times out), or on when any door opens. Maybe the S has this option.

From the Manual page 2-45SIC3512The map light control switch has three positions:ON*1 , DOOR*2 and OFF*3 .The light *4 (if so equipped) will illuminatewhen the headlight switch is turned to theor position.ON positionWhen the switch is in the ON position*1 , themap lights will illuminate.DOOR positionWhen the switch is in the DOOR position *2 ,the map lights will illuminate under the followingconditions:. ignition switch is turned to the LOCKposition— remain on for about 15 seconds.. doors are unlocked by pushing the unlockbutton (on the keyfob or Intelligent Key)or the request switch (Intelligent Key systemequipped model), with the ignition switch inthe LOCK position— remain on for about 15 seconds.. any door is opened and then closed with theignition switch in the LOCK position— remain on for about 15 seconds.. any door is opened with the ignition switchin the ACC or ON position— remain on while the door is opened. When the door is closed, the lights go off.The lights will turn off after 30 minuteswhen the lights remain illuminated toprevent the battery from becoming discharged.OFF positionWhen the switch is in the OFF position*3 , themap lights will not illuminate, regardless of thecondition.SIC3513CEILING LIGHTThe ceiling light switch has three positions: ON,DOOR and OFF.ON positionWhen the switch is in the ON position*1 , theceiling light will illuminate.DOOR positionWhen the switch is in the DOOR position *2 ,the ceiling light will illuminate under the followingconditions:. ignition switch is turned to the LOCKposition— remain on for about 15 seconds.Instruments and controls 2-45

I miss the dimming outside mirrors that the Nissan Maxima has. Those big side mirrors throw a lot of light in your eyes at night.

I wish the back glass would open independantly. That way you could just pop it open drop something in or take something out.And the stuff everybody else said.

I kind of prefer this; the hatch is lighter weight and has fewer parts to break/come loose/make noise and fewer seals that could fail. If suppose if it was a simple hinged glass that wasn't power and slid in and out it wouldn't add that much weight but then the hinges would prove unsightly. If it was a power glass it would add a lot of cost because it would need to be able to slide yet still have the defrost wires in it, not to mention the rear end wouldn't be nearly as good looking because it has to be a shape allowing the glass to slide down into the hatch. I really love the light weight and easy handling of the hatch as it is, and how clean and unique it looks with its curvature and no extra hinges and widgets sticking out.

Just my $0.02; I don't find it difficult at all to open the hatch to drop something in, plus I always keep the privacy cover shut all the time so I'd still need to open the hatch even if the glass could open, in order to roll the privacy cover back for dropping the item in.

Our Expedition had this and it was convenient. Not electric or sliding or anything. Wasn't noticeable at all when you looked at it really. Turn the handle one way and the whole hatch opens, turn it the other way and just the glass opened.

The only two things I'm missing on my Rogue (that I had on my 2005 Altima) are:

1. Auto-headlights - I got too used to them on the Altima so now I have to remember to turn them on an off.

2. Auto-up/down driver & passenger windows. Why have the Auto down with the SL but AUto-up only with the leather package? That kind of pissed me off.

Oh... and I would have liked a built-in GPS but I've gotten over that.

The car is the wife's -- but the thing I'd like to see is a bit more power. It feels good around town... but out on the highway it feels like it's working pretty hard at 75-80mph. When you get up to highway speeds it sucks the gas too at only 22-23mpg. A bit more motor would probably actually help this as it wouldn't have to work as hard.

Just curious is your rogue an AWD. I have not experienced the 75-80 mph lack of power/"working hard" sensation if anything it was too easy to run over 80 in my rogue on a recent roadtrip to Boone NC. This was with 2 adults and a generous amount of cargo for the week. Also my mpg on the trip was 25- 28 mpg. I have about 2000 miles on mine maybe yours needs a little more time to break-in.

Her's is an AWD and just passed 2000 miles also.

What I notice in her's is that with the cruise on 75-80, when we hit hills (we have a lot of them here in Kentucky, things aren't flat at all) the RPMs jump up to about 3K. If I drive it w/ the cruise off and take my foot out of it letting it drop just a couple mph as it needs to no the hills, the transmission does not 'unlock' from it's highest gearing and we get more like 25-26mpg. On cruise it seems to get more like 22-23. On back roads where speeds are more in the 60-70 range even it seems like also stay up in the higher 20's.

She got her first oil change at about 1500 miles, will change to Mobil 1 full syn at about 3750. I noticed in my Pathfinder when it was new that the change to Synth picked up about 1-2 mpg, and then I got a bit more when I passed 5000miles of break in. Hopefully her Rogue will be good for about 4 more also.

I drive mostly flat roads and highways, but today took my first trip into the local mountains and discovered how the CVT has a difficult time with steep climbs. I was on some pretty steep narrow forest roads and the motor really struggled. What can you expect with a 4cy though?

Still love the heck out of this thing.

I've had mine about a week. It's an SL AWD

Complaints:- Seems to stick in 2d gear if I use paddle shifters to get some extra push getting on the highway- Bluetooth microphone is REALLY soft when recording for my phonebook. If I'm on the highway, I can't even hear what I recorded.- Bluetooth phonebook only accepts numbers (eg; I can't enter the # sign to access my voicemail, etc.) which makes it much less convenient- XM Radio display will not scroll all of the information, it just displays one thing (ie; EITHER artist or song, not both)- Intelligent key will not let passengers open their own doors (they have to wait for me to push my button twice before they can get in), also rear doors don't have button (if I'm getting something out of my back seat, I have to go back to the driver's door to lock)

Wish List:- Auto on/off head lights- Climate control (ie; just set temp)- Programmable remote like on my old Murano (eg; choose to open all doors when I press the button once)- Reclining rear seats- Remote lift gate- Bigger Intelligent key remote button on rear hatch door

It's still a real fun car to drive.

I just have to say that since this is the first Brand New car I have ever purchased..(( all other cars beforehand being in the 3 digit price range ))...I have no dislikes about my rogue.

Altho I do have to agree with whomever said that the missing cargo light on the "S" model should'nt be a luxury. I am glad i opted for the SL.

The only thing that does drive me nuts is there are only two screws holding the license plate onto the rear hatch....ever time i close the hatch the plate rattles....annoying....couldn't they have made four holes to make it more secure?

but other than that...I Love My Rogue !!
