I miss the stamps.

Whenever I go at noon-2pm there's a massive line. My nearest subway is right in the middle of some large office buildings and a hospital, so all these professionals are there before I am. Sometimes the line goes out the door. Thats when I give up and grab a salad at the grocery store.

The employees NEVER seem happy, except for this cheery black guy who sang a lot. He [was] awesome. Its like there's new people every week, and the only consistent face is the store owner.

He told me it costs (a little over three years ago) about $200k to open a Subway, and he's done "reasonably well."

Now u know why they do reasonably well. I do gotta admit the lines did get long around rush hours, but those are the best times to come in cuz that's when usually everything is fresh.

Oh yeah the stamps BTW, LOL, again thank the employees. They had to make up for their lost money somehow right? It's funny they tried to replace it w/ SubCards to prevent employees from making any money out of them, but it still could be done.

The Subway by my place NEVER has the same employees as the last time I went in. That says something to me.

I miss the stamps too....

OK, that does it. I'm done with Subway.

Can't stand Jared. So what, you were fat? Lots of people are fat. Now you're not. BFD.

Got an email from some retard whining about this thread... For all I know, it could be the owner.

I'm not responding, because it's kinda dumb, but here's the BEST part:

"....our site is the ORIGINAL 240sx forum...

I may be a jerk, but I don't have the heart to tell him he's missing the boat by 3 years. 240sx.org has been online since July, 1997.

We got a birthday party to throw!!!

Does anyone else find it amusing how they locked their thread, but ours is still unlocked, and we're talking about Subway?

Who's censored now?

Rawrrrrr

Oh, and almost 10 years!

Man, I can't stand that Jared fool either. You know the only reason he lost so much weight is because of all the yack in his nasal

Quiznos RULES. Haven't tried Blimpees yet but always heard good things, and Subway is decent enough to get me a sandwich when I'm in a pinch

And as far as forum wars go, there will always be that one forum who says they're the best. And you know what, we may never be the biggest and best out there, but we're up there, and we're having fun being there, and really that's all that matters to me

I have a Z ilvia account as a secondary resource. I never post or even think about posting because they have very niche info. MMMMMmmm. They opened a Taco Bell across the street from OSU.

Didn't Jared lose most of his weight by gastric bypass surgery? I can't remember from the back of my head. It's ridiculous how lucky he got by telling Subway he ate their food while he was losing weight and now he's a stinkin millionaire, but from what my ex-owner told me he practically brought Subway to where it is now.

Have any of u guys noticed it looks like Jared is getting fatter don't u think? LOL.

subway's not a weight loss miracle or anything...but I've eaten lunch there for lunch for about a year now....I've lost probably 40 pounds mainly from changing my eating habits slightly...and getting off normal coke on to diet.

it's just not greasy like most fast food...aslong as you don't load it down with mayonaise and cheese...

Subway breads own all of the others. the meat is kinda eh...but Quiznos damn near makes me sick anymore...Jersey Mike's makes the best tuna, but on the bread it's quite bad.

subway has spinach too.
