WTF happened to this thread? And what's with the rivalry, holy crap. I joined NICO before joining Zllvia. Later on I made a Zllvia account but only lurked. Slowly but surely, Zllvia won me over and I started frequenting NICO less and less just because a lot of the stuff here got old and every time I went t the 240 section, there was a new "Official somecrap" thread. NICO was alright when I first joined, but Zllvia won me over because it had the info I wanted, wasn't as conservative and this board, and is entertaining as hell.

BTW, the old thread was locked to prevent stupid randomness like what happened in this thread to ever start to appear.

And since when did forums start competing for members? It's a freaking forum. It's almost as stupid as this one situation I had with this other RC forum when I was advertising my clubs forum and a drift session on it. One thread got deleted and the other got edited (links got deleted) because it was offsite linking, even though our new site provides helpful info and was even giving away free stuff to actively helpful members. Seriously, communities like these should not compete for members, but help each other in expanding on existent knowledge and discovering new things.

i clicked expecting to see why Z ilvia sucks, but looks like nico members only care about sandwiches... i guess its good from an advertising stand point, the more members post whore, the more revenue greg gets, thats why theres no locked threads and newb questions can be answered here. over and over again.

Butt-hurt indeed.... Kate was exactly right - This thread was left open to show just how ridiculous this really is.

Besides, sandwiches are more interesting.

This has nothing to do with revenue and everything to do with providing the best product to the consumer.

Forums that don't take themselves seriously do a disservice to people who are legitimately looking for information.

If it was all about revenue, there's be those damn TextLink ads all over the place. Think about it.

Apparently we're a good enough forum for Kn1ves to list his stuff for sale....

Look at the bright side - We don't defend thieves and scammers on this forum, so you'll be reasonably safe.

It's not a rivalry if there's no competition.

Speaking of competition, I gave Subway another chance yesterday, and they came through. Apparently they're under new management, and the manager was there. Got me a GREAT Italian BMT.

Oh Ma Gah Oh Ma Gah, you're wasting band with, Oh Ma Gah, I can't believe you're polluting not just the environmental world, but now the internet world, Oh Ma Gah.

IMO its sad that the fellows at Z I lvia can't leave something open and be light hearted. Its only "stupid and random" if members make it out to be. Here, this group is having a good time discussing whatever might pop into their heads. If you can't handle it, get lost and go conform to locking "off topic" and "stupid newb threads."

Oh, and to add to the Subway convo. Across from the college I went to is a Subway that has 3 plaques for "Highest Grossing Store Ever," for three years in a row.

I had/have one guy who makes me great sandwiches- doubles up ingredients even on the daily special- even better? He'll go as far as making me a different day's special sandwich for me even thought it might be tuna day. Thats service!

The manager is pretty damn decent too.

Having read all 5 pages, I can't quite figure out what the 240 world complains about. Finding info is rather easy when your vehicle is approaching a level of aftermarket popularity that used to be reserved only for the Civic/Integra crowd.

Personally, I see questions in the Sentra/200SX/G20 and Transverse SR sections that I can't answer and that haven't been answered here before relatively often. Being an enthusiast, I generally do a search of my own across various sources, then come back here to reveal my findings. The only way a knowledge-base can grow is for people to contribute to it.

Oh, and free dining-hall sandwiches FTW! I do hate it when they run out of sub-style bread though... Turkey+Salami+Lettuce+Spicy Mustard on Wheat = remarkably healthy deliciousness

You get it toasted? Make sure when u get it next time u count how much meat is on there, cuz alot of times they like to jip ppl or the newbies don't know how much to put.

For a six inch:2Ham, 3 Pepperoni, 3 Salamiand double for 1 ft long. There's a lot of secrets that ppl don't know about, I know this place like the back of my hand.

kckouki - Yes, Lenny's Sub Shop is what is here, I am pretty sure that's what they are talking about too.. The topic seems to be Sub Sammiches..

Speaking of.. They opened up a couple "Firehouse Subs" shops here.. VERY good.. also a little on the high side price-wise.. But well worth it for the once-in-a-while top of the line sub. I ate there once and it was wonderful. They might slack off a little and get ****ty once the newness of the place wears off but I hope not.

The way it seems around here:

SUBWAY- Bottom of the barrel looks but a damn good sammich at a damn good price.

QUIZNOS- Little more "rich person" looks and a pretty good sammich, though I couldn't eat there everyday like I could Subway, and IIRC, the prices are a little steep for what you get.

LENNY'S SUB SHOP- "Hole-in-the-wall" looks (At leas the one I go to around here), yet very good eats. I don't remember anything about the prices there.

FIREHOUSE SUBS- "Firehouse" styling with a huge painting on the wall of a firetruck and a pole somewhere in the building, I don't remember where though. Overall a cool place to go in, not to mention the amazingly good looking females that were working in there last time I went. If you haven't tried it, and have one around, DEWW EEETTT! It's wonderful, just make sure you have a little extra $$$ to spend.

That's all I can remember right now..

LOL the actual name is Brooklyn-Manhattan Transfer. It has changed now to be more food oriented which is Bigger, Meatier, Tastier or any thing of that sort. I remember I had to know this in the training manual which I thot was stupid, but its funny cuz alot of ppl asked what it meant.

As u can see I'm bored.

Greg. A pity you resort to preaching non-competition, yet you have and continue to carry out actions which say otherwise. If you aren't competing, why censor the word Zîlvia? Why continue to delete links to other forums even if they pertain to the topic. Why make snyde remarks in claiming that your site is somehow better? Why continuously brag about how many members you have? Oh wait, I can answer that last one for you, it's for the money.

Why would somebody as professional as you would like to think you are, resort to such ****ing immature and childish statements? When the dust settles, it's you who's the immature one, you the egotistic one, and you who needs to grow the **** up.

That is all.

You can choke on me, Princess.

Here's the deal, since you haven't a clue. Make sure to read carefully, or have your parents read it to you:

I made it VERY clear why we're no longer allowing the linking. It has NOTHING to do with preventing people from knowing there are other forums out there - that would be silly. If you'd go back and READ, you'd see the reasoning behind it.

There's no sense in letting smaller sites ride our nuts to the top of the rankings, especially since there's nothing they can offer us in return. Read up on the topic of SEO, it's an interesting field.

If it were about the money, we'd have TextLink ads all over the place. Those make a grip of cash. Our monthly hosting fees alone cost more than that entire site costs to run for a year.

If it were about the money, we'd charge a membership fee. Think about it, genius.

If it were about the money, I wouldn't drop $3000-$6000 EVERY time we do a National event. Tent rentals, food, sodas, ice, coolers, grille, giveaways, models, posters, shirts, stickers, tagging cards, etc. etc. Think about it.

If it were about the money, I wouldn't drop a paying sponsor the INSTANT someone had an issue with non-delivery or poor customer service. Think about it.

If it were about the money, I'd make the contents of this site viewable to registered members ONLY, just to boost our numbers.

Whatcha got?

How's this sound? If you don't like the way we do things, bon voyage.

If you don't like to hear that we have a certain number of members, then don't read here. If you don't like seeing "NICO pride", then stay away. If you don't like seeing our members get featured in magazines, don't read them. If you don't like seeing our logo on race cars and drift cars, and you don't want to see our members having a blast at a National meet, don't watch TV.

No one's forcing you to be here, and for some wet-behind-the-ears kid to call ME immature is a freaking riot.

I'm old enough to be your Daddy, and when you can manage what I manage, you can lip off.

Until then, STFU.

I'll leave your post up so you can re-read the thread and figure out why you'd post something so retarded. Hopefully you're just having a bad day.

you've clearly never met him....

also...going around the word filters to post profanity doesn't make you more of a man or "cool". Infact, it's kinda stupid...extra time spent on taking away impact of what you say.

"look at me I'm a ****in' man cuz I say **** and ****c***!"

anyway...back to the sandwiches!

bet no one will ever get banned because of this thread...try that with other forums?

I had a delicious 6" turkey sub on Italian herbs and cheese bread with pepperjack cheese, spinach, tomato, pickles, black olives, onions and banana pepper slices with salt, pepper, vinegar and spicy brown mustard.

with sunflower fried sour cream and onion chips with diet coke.

it rocked hardcore.

I agree with BlackFlag_s13... and I'm an '02 member.

Greg, get off your self-righteous *** for a change. You make it seem like you're the damn godfather of all Nissan owners. Get over yourself. Just because you have the ***-backing of your ***-kissing members doesn't make you bigger than any of us.

Why prohibit linking to other sites? You might lose out on your "business?"

Go ahead and ban me. Not like I'll miss this Noob-Central Station.
