Adjusted fuel pressure, installed wideband, set ignition timing, did rough tune on SDS EM4-4F, and drove it for the first time in 9 months!!!! I have a lot of tuning to do, but this big T04E is spooling by 4K-4.5K! Not bad for a CA18DET. Didn't get past that because I have a boost cut programmed at 15psi, but it broke the tires loose in 1st and 2nd as soon as the turbo spooled. This thing's gonna be a blast at 8500 and 30psi!

You most likely have a pipe upside down, or the hole in the battery tray cut wrong.

I had the opening facing down. The top bracket bolted the hoodlatch prefectly but the bottom two brackets need to be re welded to that actually bolt on. cold pipe was almost prefect. I need better coupling hotside i didnt even bother since i had isis mani and the kit came for stock mani

O... you mean the intercooler itself. My greddy's bottom ones don't line up with anything at all... If your couplers are tight, the I/C mounts really don't matter that much. Mine rolled around for 2 months without even being bolted to the latch.

Rebuilt pump and motor for air-water intercooler, and built bracket to mount said pump.

^^ that looks delicious. On the topic at hand, I got my car started again but it was running funny. It was up at 2500 rpms and fluctuated to 3k... I guess undoing the clamp from the hot pipe has something to do with it?? BTW: vehicle was just started for the first time after 4 years, so not vacuum lines are hooked up. First time it ran rather smooth, now its kinda scary.

Installed isis front tension rods, rear toe rods, test pipe, and 4 wheel alignment. It is handling much better now. Doesn't get the "trammel" over ruts in the highway near as bad as before. Not nearly as harsh as of a ride as I expected it to be. I would say it made it more "crisp?" It also drives straight! yay!!!

Didn't notice any improvement with the test pipe other than it fixed the exhaust leak that I had at the converter flange. So a little bit quieter ride is an improvement I guess.

fuel pump left me stranded. pump was from 1989 so it had a gooood run.

so replaced that and fuel filter too.

it still has like the tiniest little bit of surge in power does it sound like i need to advance or retard my timing?

only does it from like 2k to 3k or so.

Today I did a oil change
Resealed the turbo return line, I used a Volvo gasket because it's the exact same fitting to the turbo. I also replaced that hose on the return line I used another Volvo hose. It was exact fit. Lol I just had to make it a bit shorter but it was a good fit.
I got my inc. check today. And ordered a ton of parts
Yesterday
I installed my new I.C
Tomorrow
I'm doing the 4 point seat belts.
And what ever else I feel like

replaced slave cylinder and removed the factory damper box. Got a little more clutch feel but nothing crazy. Also the oil pressure sending unit went so replaced that and did an oil change. Back up and running with no more leaks!

I tried to pm ya back, but you have them disabled. I believe that the new competition ones are sold out till April. The pros, which I got, should still be in stock. Unless I got the last set haha.
