What was done to your 240 today?

Installed poly bushings in the rear arms and spindles. Not a rubber bushing left on the car now! I also installed braided SS brake lines and speed bleeders.

Installed my old SS brake lines on Vert, but both front bleeders are stuck. PB blaster and wait. Have to get a new bleeder valve on one side, it stripped.

Tried to remove the battery tray...it's all mangled up, half of it is gone.

WHY ARE THERE SO MANY SPOT WELDS ON A BATTERY TRAY?

Ordered a new auto meter water temp gauge. Washed the car made it shiny and then buffed out all the major scratches and scuffs, maguires scratch x!! s*** works like a charm. Made some hefty blemishes unnoticeable... Good thing I washed the car and made it so shiny and sexy because, true to nor cal, it started raining not 2 hours later, but isn't that how it always goes? Lol

Modified a Fan shroud to fit my aluminum radiator, tired of my wire harness getting torn up.
Installed a new o2 sensor, the old one was not surprisingly really corroded.

Last week started to put some old SS braided brake lines on my Vert. Front bleeder valves were stuck.

Yesterday:
Finally got the bleeders out of the front calipers. Had to take them off and put it on a bench vice to remove them. New ones were $20 at the dealership

I figured i would post a teaser pic of engine bay with cam & vc cover mocked up. soon after this pic was taken i started pulling wire harness and unbolting intake manifold. i decided to do a full wire tuck with a new harness. i am also getting manifold cleaned and powdercoated silver as well as redoing pulleys in silver. my goal is to have the cleanest ca18det on the planet.

Well got my ride out the shop spent my whole paycheck their replacing my clutch n stuff just to find out all I needed was a six dollar part I broke the pivot thing I never learned the name that holds my fork in half while doing a burn out so I'm goin to the dealer to fix it hopefully I'll have it in by 10 tonite

Installed manual brake master adapter plate I made (think chase bays, only cuztom, LOL) with my Willwood brake master, bled the brakes with my new speed bleeders, removed downpipe and thermal wrapped, installed turbo and turbo blanket on turbo, then beat on it for a half hour to try and burn the thermal protection in and test the brakes.

installed my custom laser scribed silvia coilpack cover, fixed my cigarette lighter, made a shift boot, made a parts list on frsport. and waited on my boost controller and wideband to get here

Bought my first 240sx its a 92 coupe with a kq in her and ready for a 5spd swap came with all the pars and i just ordered kyb agx front struts and gr2 rears with megan racing lowering springs!
