Thanks CPJ :dblthumb: for the hook up with SxExC. :mike

I know engine bay needs to be cleaned...next on the list!

Hey man, where did you get the grounding kit from? Any chance you made a video of the install?

Waddup JoshTex! How you been man?
Sorry I did not make a video of the install, the kit came with instructions/pix, pretty easy straight forward install.
Anybody who can read can do it, I don't know anything about cars and I was able to do it within an hr.
The tricky part for me was hooking up the last cable (black) ground which connects from negative battery terminal to the transmission pan which requires the car to be jacked up and getting underneath the car.
The kit is available in 3 colors, black, red and blue. Homie CPJ LB (nico member) I'm sure you've seen his name floating around, his buddy makes the kit. I don't wanna step on anybody's toes or advertise from other forums.
Please shoot a PM to CPJ and he'll take care of ya.

First time using plasti dip, this stuff is pretty easy to use, made few minor mistakes but not really noticeable.

I replaced engine air filter, cabin charcoal air filter, and both seat filters. Also cleaned the headliner, steamed the seats, and re-treated with leather care. Got a great deal on the air filter from a local Infiniti dealer called Sawgrass Infiniti. Actual OEM part from an actual Infiniti dealer for $18 shipped. Took 3 days to arrive.

I got 1 can of plasti dip for 6 bucks at your local Home Depot and did 6 coats. I heard people putting cardboard behind the grill and spraying away but I found it way easier to remove the grill. There is 2 black tabs on top of the grill and yank out the grill by pulling on the bottom corners, just yank it real hard and it will come out.

Looks good brotha!! now you need to get the 08 sport bumper

here's my 08 front....and Anthracite wheels....also, if you want a different look, I still have my powder coated grille after I did the front bumper swap - that fits the standard 06-07 front bumper...pix included. PM me if you're interested and I'll let it go for cheap :dblthumb:

08 sport bumper is a dream of mine and I like the Balsarini grill. :bigthumb:
Thanks for the offer on the grill but I don't really like those, they remind me of Altima and Maxima. :nono:

^LOL...too funny....I did a lot of different grille mods before I went with the 08 bumper/grille...

for the 08 bumper (lower grille), I gone with a steel mesh - the shop that installed it had done it on several Infiniti's and I liked the look. also I get a lot of cool air thru the engine bay :dblthumb:

Plasti-dipped my grill, and took my old rims and added some color to them, working on a budget no extra funds for new rims, my main mod is to pay her off this year, then go from there.

Nice job man! I don't know if you did it on purpose but I did the same when I dipped my grill while removing the dip from the Infiniti emblem, I took too much off and now I have a chrome spot right above the emblem.
My first time using Plasti dip, I plan on re-dipping white since my car is white to see how it looks.
Now you need to get that black beast lowered!

No I covered the emblem but now I am going to remove chrome lip on the grill and dip it as well. The rims are dipped and clear dipped to add some shine.
Yeah I have to drop her, but I am on a strict budget so everything is on hold. I have two more months before I move to florida and leave this cold weather in the rear view mirror.

If you're going white with your wheels, you have to see how pearlizer looks over white dipped wheels:

If I had a white M. I'd do it !

doesn't the Infiniti emblem unclip from the grille?? I know it's after the fact, but I think it'll be easier to remove prior to spraying...anyways, you guys (Wang & Loucast) did a good job!

Took advantage of the nice weather Saturday and installed my S badge. It always bothered me the earlier M45S didn't receive the actual S emblem. I really like the red on white.

Installed my new hi-power LED's in the rear dome lights. Took out the front dome lights for a more ambient lighting on the inside. And also because I'm waiting for the from dome LED's to come in the mail from amazon.

Thanks EniGmA1987 and CPJ LB

I was able to install the rear brakes and new rear wheels. I'm hoping to get the front done soon, I should have the trunk done early today. I even installed my new radio knobs
