Is that a sport or AWD bumper? I thought only the AWD bumper has the silver trim come around the rear? Any chance of getting pics with better light? I'm trying to see where things end and begin. Looks interesting.

its 08 non sport bumper. i swapped it out with my sport bumper a long time ago because i likes the chrome moldings. but the bumper needed to be more aggressive so i have been thinking of doing this for a long time.

Today I scraped up the bumper of my car pulling into my garage. Pretty awesome.

At 91k on my 2004, finally brakes we calling out for help so I completed the stock rotors & brake pads (front & rear) with EBC 3GD series rotors and EBC Redstuff brake pads (front & back)....Parking break & shoe was fine with a some minor adjustment needed.....Purchased from during the christmas special pricing & additional discount by calling into for the ordering at www.CARID.com $500 bucks shipped.

What a difference & this car sooooo should have come with tougher brakes from factory given its weight & V8 (VK45) power.

I have mine set on stage2 and I basically have to drive with the tip of my foot. I makes the
gas pedal that sensitive.

I used my M as a big car/truck...

Yesterday I returned a 55" LED tv to the store in my M (I needed a higher Hz refresh rate) ...When I first bought the tv, I had it delivered, however I didn't want to wait for the store to come back and pick it up since I was going to exchange it for another 55" and the deal on the tv I really wanted was going to end soon... so I measured the dimension of the box and test fitted the box to the back seat of the M --- it fit!!! Couldn't believe it! So I unmounted the 55" from the wall and put it back in it's original box then put it in the back seat and drove to the store for the exchange.

the guys at the store was shocked to see that the boxed tv fit perfectly in the back seat...the wide opening range of the rear doors helped a lot as well. I exchanged the first tv for another 55" (with a higher refresh rate and discounted price) and loaded up the M... no need to wait for the delivery guy! Thank you M! :big grin:

I'll see about posting pix tomorrow...

Seems they have decided to brand their logo on them now and I'm not into it.
How can I use to safely remove the logo without scratching/damaging the acrylic?

changed out my old cross-driled rotors and Akebono pads for a new set — it was time. I went back to the BrakeMotive Rotors/pads to tie me over. Still debating on a BBK upgrade.

Also changed out two of my tires that were damaged from road debris (sharp metal pieces) they couldn’t be patched since the metal hit the sidewall (inner) at an angle. Since my wheel/tire guy didn’t have the same tires to replace (Hankook V12 evo2’s) I opted for the Michelin Super Sports…I’ll wait until the 2 remaining Hankooks I still have on wear down and I’ll swap those for the Super Sports as well. Great tire!!! very grippy and sturdy road manners. I’ll break them in gradually along with the new rotors/pads and I will get a better feel for the tire/brakes combo…But very good “first impressions”.
