alright, i just got off work a little bit ago a finally have a chance to update with pics.

for starters, i forget if i posted these shots or not, but heres a couple random pics of the car and where its sitting

with all of my wiring stripped out, all that i had left was getting the new stuff and swapping it in. mrgreeneyes came over on monday and we spent some time getting the interior body harness from didderson as well as a few other parts. we also managed to get an oe replacement exhaust on mrgreeneyes's car that was on my shell. he blasted it black quick and threw it on, and it sounds great nowheres the exhaust after being sanded and bombed semi gloss blackhis current ride height taking a few minutes to install it

i took no other pics on monday, but on tuesday he came over again with tree and we made some decent progresses. before he stopped by, i went to a local junkyard to get maxima plugs since they fit in the back of the type x cluster. thats right, i have a type x cluster now (a bday present from my brother )unfortunately maxima plugs from a 94 dont fit, you need plugs from a 95-99 so im going back tomorrow to get the right one. then i'll have keegan use the usdm cluster sub harness ad make the type x cluster plug and play. (i'll snap pics of the type x cluster shortly and post em)until then.....we dropped the fuel tank and mounted the cusco tri brace bar to the floor.we also got most of the interior wiring in. keegan cut out all the crap that isnt needed. heres the excess, you may call it the squid we still have to do the engine bay body harness and the engine harness but its coming along. im not putting the fuel tank back up yet cuz im still waiting on a special little treat to come (pics and details to follow later)

before the interior wiring went in, i sprayed most of the interior black, i think currently, though im planning on having full interior except without the back part of the rear seat. i'll be putting the rear seat in since my battery will be mounted elsewhere. i also have a bunch of random parts laying in there (new door panel from diddy)heres the work station

i decided to spend wednesday tieing up some loose ends. the interior is almost ready to go back in, just waiting on a few more things and little more wiring. i managed to get the taillights swapped over and i painted the lower center garnish using the smae paint i touched up the primer spot with. it came out really great and it makes it tempting to keep the car redi also bled my bmc and im ready to swap it over along with the rest of the brakes, and i made my type x tails completely plug and play into any us chassis s13. i took the backing pieces off the stock lights and cut the plugs splicing them into the type bulb lights. those plugs now plug into teh stock harness just like stock lights do!just match the colors and then tape off a nice clean harnessthe other plugs are pretty much the same, but i'll post pics of them installed.

my latest side project to finish up is getting the stock hatch key hole to flush up instead of being sunken in.i basically used trial and error adding washers until they were flush against the center piece. i woudl have posted a finished product but my camera died. heres a shot of the back thoughi just need to reconnect that little rod back there thats in the back of the lock cylinder. the little rubber hose like piece came out of the metal rod that gets clipped to the lock cylinder. i just need to put the other end of the rubber hose back on whatever it popped off of. that sounds kind of confusing but its hard to describe.

i go into work at 4 tomorrow so i plan on working on it as much as i can before hand. the game plan right now is to go back to the junkyard and get the correct plugs, rubberize the under side (after removing the rear diff) and install the bmc and other brake gear. and i doubt i'll have time tomorow, but the next step would be to pull the engine bay wiring and get it ready for tucking. i'll go snap some pics of the new cluster and probably post it tomorrow.

oh hellz yeah. type x gauge cluster from my brother and a kai project battery cage from my parents. my wife is just allowing me to blow all of our moeny on this project

i dont have too many pics cuz i let my camera die and didnt put battreries in it for days, but i have been making some progress. i finished the kouki tail light subharness and everything is installednow everything is completely plug and play between these tails and any USDM s13 chassis heres just a pic showing the current interior situation. some of the wiring still needs finished at the dash area

the gas tank can pretty much go back up now, i just need to clean it up and empty it out first. ive drilled the holes for the battery cage and mounted the tri brace. thats pretty much all i needed the tank dropped for. besides the elctrical work i've found myself in the middle of, im gonig to be coating the underside of the car and swapping the brakes ( i know finally). the donig the undercoating differently then how i was planning, but i'll reveal that later im also keeping the lid on the top secret wiring project im in the middle of. all will be reavealed when its done and it'll be worth the wait. i started dyeing my headliner and visors. this is just the first coat, it'll be slightly darker. im also painting the battery cage, pics to come!

im installing map lights on thsi car so im painting that too. im converting thsi car to have all options (except for sunroof and a few other things). in the upcoming days i'll be swapping the power option stuff into my doors. theres still much work to be done but im making progress whenever im not working. i did however, get teh z31 bmc bench bled and installed. it looks so nice and clean.i'll take soem pics tomorrow and post updates on my further progress. all i had time for today was a junkyard run. i managed to get an sohc ka coolant sensor for $5

ps- i am selling any parts im not using so keep an eye out for my upcoming FS threads. feel free to ask in here as well. currently the tail lights (stock ones) are mint and ready to be sold as well as the sunroof off the black car.

That plug and play harness looks really clean I'll have an update for mine comin up soon I've been working like crazy on it. Unfortunately mom totaled her car just yesterday and got life lined to dayton or I'd be able to fire mine up, but she's doin ok the car rolled 4 times and she was ejected out with very minimal cut's and bruises. I've misplaced my camera or I'd already have pics up but been really busy with all that...

Other than that I've got my usual couple ?'s

What are you using to dye the headliner and visors? Didn't know that was possible. I was thinking about pulling my headliner out and doing some custom upholstery work on it.

Also I haven't searched this so don't 2 bad.... Whats the big difference between the z31 bmc and the s13 one...?

Mine looks similar but I don't know how to tell if its stock or not. I've not changed it out yet

I also wanna see where your mounting that battery at and that cage your talkin about!

the car does not have abs, is a base model. the only option it has is auto trans. what makes it look like its abs equipped?

cmoody- wow, sorry to hear about your mom, i hope she's feeling better and makes a full recovery.

- to dye the headliner i used duplicolor bumper paint. it matches the rest of teh interior perfectly.

- the z31 bmc gives a better brake bias over stock, and i plan on possibly going 5 lug and if so, upgrading the rear brakes as well. you probably dont have a z31 bmc, it looks similar to stock and theres no reason anyone would upgrade to it with stock brakes

Hmmm... bout time I convinced ya to go 5 lug! lol I found a set of 180sx rear quarter windows but they want a rediculous amount for em.... 300 shipped for the set... no way I'm givin that for fricken windows right now... My mom was just released from dayton yesterday I've got pics of the car finally which I'll add to my build thread once I upload em. As far as that goes....

My friend called me up last night with some really good news! He picked up a 91 super hicas 240! Got another honda guy to see the light

I'll have pics of it up as well. The hatch is horrible but we're gonna throw my old hatch on it once he gets the window pulled out of the junk one.
