You couldn't be further from the truth this just goes to show how little you know about that topic of women... Yes there are some women like that who know they are hot stuff and they act like it every day. But at the same time there a multitude of women that look very good take care of their image by working out and eating right all those things AND are not stuck up. I know plenty of them so you must be not hangin out with the right "crowd".......

Im not dependent on weed, but it makes things that I don’t like tolerable, like laying hazardous fiberglass or reshaping something for the 10th time.

So what are you going to do if you get a job in the workplace that you don’t like...

Designing a car isnt simple when your broke

It isn’t easy when you have money either look at any car company big or little

and neither is having much of a social life

Yet again that is so wrong there are so many things you can do without have money, you just aren’t doing the right things...

But my emphasis on having money is more due to the uncertainty in the environment that I live... where unless you've spent 10 hard years studying to get some master degree, the jobs out there will be dead ends as competition now will be spread over seas and the government isnt going to put tariffs on things to protect the home land,

Do you know anything about the job market.... Right now I am going to school to be an Electrical Engineering at the same time I have an internship with a power company called TVA (Tennessee Valley Authority) if I continue to make good grades and work hard I’m more or less guaranteed a job after college that is without getting a masters... For what I’m making now and for what I would be making after college I can live in comfort and not have to worry about money so don’t give me this BS about outsourcing and you need a masters to make any money or crap like that.

no, its all about the 2% rich getting richer, to make the middle class poor, and a goal to enslave the ones in poverty. Good luck changing ones financial security if you dont have much to begin with.
That part about good luck changing ones financial security is so much BS that I’m not even going to comment on that, if that is how you truly feel then you won’t change it.

P.S. I have always heard from people you can’t do drugs and have a nice car I guess we can see an example of that right here...

In a large city and with internet dating (when there is lots of competition) it will make a difference.

I go without weed for months sometimes, on occasion, when a brain has matured in the 20's, its not as bad as people make it out. In your country you can get crazy jail terms for it because it rivals the pharmaceutical business that profits in the billions.

It isn’t easy when you have money either look at any car company big or little

A Power company is not going to go out of business and all you'll be doing is pressing buttons like Homer Simpson... its sounds like a nice job but how many people will get that kind of opportunity.
The figures state that 37,000,000 Americans are living below the federal poverty level, thats 1 in 8 people and this going to get worse as the manufacturing businesses will further be out of business... the family farmers will be pushed out by corporations with government subsidies backing them, and the money system which the Fed (owned privately) deliberately creates inflationary and deflationary cycles making people lose there savings.
Canada is in the same boat, our parliament eventually answers to the Crown... the Queen, which all tie together as London is the financial hub, District of Columbia (USA) the military wing, and the Vatican as the spiritual leader. There all like their own countries with an obelisk monument in them and are immensely powerful... but lets not make this a conspiracy thread :D

Three years to accomplish what you have so far, and then you post this:

"where unless you've spent 10 hard years studying to get some master degree"

I think I see where the problem is: Proper time-management skills.

I don’t have a single friend that is a friend of mine because of the car, nor have I gone on a date with a girl because of the car. I can count the number of times a girl(s) have stopped and waved or honked at me on one hand. So having a good looking car isn't the solutions to all the problems. Plus half of my friends are not even into cars and the other half I would still hang out with if I sold the car or something like that.

I can’t afford gas, insurance, to eat outside or go to venues, its rather hard to do things with friends that do those things.

It sounds like someone needs to get a job, whatever that might be so you can at least afford to live before deciding to redesign a car....

Are you utterly stupid  Our group is in charge of reliability we run countless number of reports, and studies daily and hourly to determine how the system will hold up if something were to happen. Those things are ran by computers but how we view the date and the decisions we make with said date couldn’t be done by a computer since the variables that go into every transaction change on a hourly basis. Plus I have a few friends that work at a nuclear plant and they are trying to get me to come intern over there, so I know a little bit about that as well and that is NOTHING like just pressing buttons. So nice try buttttttt the "real" world is not like a cartoon.

How bout you have some firsthand knowledge of your so called facts. The reason I say this is I have relatives that still work on the farm and times couldn’t be better for them. They are making more money than ever especially with everyone running e85 in the Midwest the demand for farming is rising.

Agreed most of the time you can get a Masters in 6 years from the day you graduate Highschool.

I don't think so. He has his thread replicated on a bunch of other forums anyways, so locking it here wouldn't lock those threads or stop his project. And as much as I hate seeing this thread bumped to the top of my post search, I do get a good laugh every time he replies. :chuckle:

Ok guys, I can't even follow what just happened in the last page of this thread. All I know is that we're back to where we were when Vig first joined. Let's keep it civil. Keep the slandering accusations to a minimum, and tone it down just a bit.

We all know Vig is a little loopy, but he's not hurting anyone else, so just leave him be. No need for namecalling.

How bout you have some firsthand knowledge of your so called facts. The reason I say this is I have relatives that still work on the farm and times couldn’t be better for them. They are making more money than ever especially with everyone running e85 in the Midwest the demand for farming is rising. Not much in the spirit of farming specially when it pollutes the environment and ecology. And real farmers are losing out... even when GMO e85 corn is brought down wind or dropped by birds and invades the real farmers land, rather then those farmers getting compensated for this foreign, human disease causing corn, Monsanto sues them instead for having their patented crop.
Its just funny that the richest country in the world has something like 1 in 7 go hungry to bed, with many children included, yet food is being grown for fuel. You might say its not a socialist country that shares it wealth, but at the same time privately owned failed business banks are bailed out in the tune of 700 billion of tax payers monies.

I didnt actually mean a "masters degree", I bet those graduates still only land dead end jobs, I meant master as in a top degree, as in a PHD I guess.

People with masters degrees do not land dead end jobs. Bahahaha..

PhD students are usually focused on academia. They intend to come back and teach.

Also to add to that ^^

It would be one thing if you were doing what your doing because your into that sort of thing (i guess to be unique :gotme ).
But the fact that your doing it because you think someone will pay for that and that you will actually make money.

First of all there would not be ANY market for that. Even if you could afford to sell it for $500 (which would be impossible unless you just dont care about making money)

I would pay $500 just to never see the car again with that stupid fiberglass job because it makes me sick that someone did that to a Z

So about making money... Impossible sir get that out of your mind you are strictly working on a hobby you will not make money off of that if your any type of buisness man you would already realize this...
Think about it 2 years of work, parts, material, equipment and still not complete.

Lets say that $1500 is your starting price... (which you would still lose money)
Who on earth would want to take away from the beautiful lines of the z32 and put "that" on and actually pay for it.... HMM NO ONE!!

TO ADD TO MY RANT
VigorousZX wrote:Since I cut the bumper in half and refitted it, Im not sure if the same can be done to TT's because of the intercoolers.

THIS IS A PROMISE NO TT OWNERS ARE GOING TO BUY THIS STUPID FAR OUT FRONT END KIT/BUCKET OF RICE (ESPECIALLY AT 3K)

Picture this: Young man just got a job working full time and bought a Z 2+2 and finally has some money to play with, he is in his parents living room browsing on his labtop when suddenly he is like oOOOooo i have some money now i could proabably afford a tt swap then he smiles but remembers about vigors front end kit.......... Do you Honestly think someone will buy that kit (reguardless of how much it costs) instead of buying something else they want...

With that being said think about this: Not only do you have to compete with stillen and wingswest and all those other ppl that make body kits BUT you have to compete with the fact that ppl dont have unlimited money so there are other upgrades they want...

Ok im done this is an extreme waste of my time.... Just trying to help you VigorusZX the choice is yours good luck either way you choose

Its my goal to have a really beautiful car and the ones that are made for sale upto this lifetime, ones I prefer, are basically out of my price range. Maybe 20 years of work out my price range. Whats the next best thing but to create my own ultimate beauty.
Some people have to own a car with a top brand as a status symbol but there are others like me that will enjoy the Vigor as a nice looking car and will happily pay for it... like owners of Cavaliers, Civics, and Mercs for example, not exactly all Z owners as I can sell the kit installed and sold as a whole.

This is the main Vigor thread, thanks.
Only thing I have to update on my project is the larger CNC machine I started making which is closing to finishing.

I go into detail in my CNC build thread
Image
my-cnc-build-thread-testing-t546334.html

Since I have to raise up money to purchase a gas generator and heater for the panel vacuuming, Im going to make 1/5 scale RC cars and sell these as super car toys for profit first.

Then I will carve out the Vigor.
Recently I learnt how to render, this is a rough sample I made, the yellow one being the Vigor, and the video being the NSX Im contemplating on doing as a RC "Avengers" car toy.

As calmly as possible:

Vigorouszx, you called yourself broke, yet you seem to think you're gonna revolutionize the auto industry by selling poorly maintained zx's with some hideous bodywork on it that further hinders performance by weighing 100+ pounds extra. And you think that's gonna really get you somewhere?

There's a reason why people revolutionize the auto industry. They have investors willing to promote the success of the product. But if you're trying to make z's into Aston Martins or any other supercar you can't afford even the brakes off of (let alone the copyrights surrounding the design of the vehicle,) you have a jaded sense of reality.

Go to school. Get a degree, a job, and a life. Sell the crappy fiberglass stuff you have laying around and give it a rest. You're only making your life harder (once you realise nobody here is gonna be interested. That's been proven after 3 years, bro. Sorry.)

Advice:

Want to sell a cool kit? Sweet, I'm with you on that.
Want to make it a supercar? Great, with you on that too, but you have to get the looks and performance to demand a good price.
Want to copycat other designs and not come up with your own? NOT OK.
Want to make this already 3300 LB car heavier than it is by 50+ pounds of bondo? NOT COOL.
Want to not fix the engine at all and lug around more weight in the process :slap:

So here's what I suggest. The z would benefit most from having:
1. Wider Stance
2. More Power
3. Less weight
4. Good drivetrain
5. Massive Brakes
6. Lower and better performing suspension
7. Looks better overall

Image
There's a reason why people would choose to pay for this, rather than what you're offering. It has all of the 7 above. Your kit will have NONE of the above.

Not to mention having none of the above, your kit will fall in line with this widebody kit:

Image
as one of the ugliest things manufactured for the z32.

With that said, DESIGN FOR THE 7 ASPECTS ABOVE THAT MAKE A 'SUPERCAR', and you can CHARGE 7 grand all day long.

But before you do that, I'd say the most effective thing you really could do and gain much more profit off of is design some wide fender overlays for the z. Much more people would be interested in buying that at a good price than a full on widebody kit. That's a very small market dude, even for ricers.

You're shooting too high for a realistic short term goal man. Think about it, there's people who are making their own kit cars, and they're doing that without a premade chassis.

for example (don't know too much about it)

Image

See? Now in order to do stuff liek that, you'd need a large amount of capitol investment to turn over a one off, let alone recreate it. And you need a team to do the latter. My advice like i said is, start from the lower level, actually learn how to use automotive fiberglass, and start investing in some carbon fiber dude. Seriously. at the very least, FRP.

There was a specific one i was watching on youtube where the guy made this sick custom car and has his own website about it. RWd, has a hybrid (two different engines, not EV) v8 setup, fully custom chassis, body, etc. I was lookin for it, couldn't find it, so I just got the first custom supercar i could find

Vig, why can't you do something like that? Why do you feel the need to ruin a z? Make your own chassis and start fresh with your own design. :werd:

I agree that Vig should attempt his goals from a coach building perspective. Way to difficult to modify a unibody car properly.

This forum needed some entertainment, so it'll be open through the holidays, then I'm locking it again :)

Hahah great post. Open through the holidays for entertainment purposes :D
I cant afford gas, insurance, to eat outside or go to venues, its rather hard to do things with friends that do those things.
^ Everyone starts that way, but this project you're creating is too big of a step to even be plausible within your means, (hence why it's STILL not done.) You could make small parts out of CF/FRP for a good price for us and any other niche market, like hoods, doors, hatches, diffusers, spoilers, interior trim pieces, all that.

I mean, you have the CNC machine, you could crank out a mold in a day or less for body panels dude. But you choose this highly unsupported, (by yourself financially and by the community you're marketing to,) product that is 10% sense and 90% dream, and 100% beyond your expertise (i've never seen anyone make a paper mache bodykit unless it was like a practical joke.. :gotme I don't know why you're adamant about doing such a big step early on, but dude...You just can't do it right now. Build some parts to gain some initial capitol investment and build your business profile, then start making a huge project like this once you've perfected those!

(Lamborghini started making tractors, what were they BEFORE that? Probably made the wheels, suspension, whatever. Once they perfected that, then they moved onto the next step.)

Now that I have a CNC machine I wont need paper mache anymore. You may have not read the thread but all the steps needed in making the kit can be accomplished by me.

Want to make this already 3300 LB car heavier than it is by 50+ pounds of bondo? NOT COOL.
Want to not fix the engine at all and lug around more weight in the process :slap:

So here's what I suggest. The z would benefit most from having:
1. Wider Stance
2. More Power
3. Less weight
4. Good drivetrain
5. Massive Brakes
6. Lower and better performing suspension
7. Looks better overall

There's a reason why people would choose to pay for this, rather than what you're offering. It has all of the 7 above. Your kit will have NONE of the above.

Not to mention having none of the above, your kit will fall in line with this widebody kit:

as one of the ugliest things manufactured for the z32.
This kit will be my first release and it needs to make me money, so far I'm planning for it to look like a $375000 car (copy), if you think that's hideous bodyworkthen you are in the minority of the general public's feeling.
TTkickedin wrote:With that said, DESIGN FOR THE 7 ASPECTS ABOVE THAT MAKE A 'SUPERCAR', and you can CHARGE 7 grand all day long.

In the general public maybe 10% would pay for a cheap LFA repilca looking car where only like .015% would pay the same money for a high horse power Nissan 300zx.

Also finding an investor to build my designs would be like finding a needle in a hay stack.

Vig, why can't you do something like that? Why do you feel the need to ruin a z? Make your own chassis and start fresh with your own design. :werd:

Holy sh*t dude, seriously? :facepalm2
I dont have any money and I dont want to work at McDonalds or a gas station for 10 years to start one.
