Ok, so 144k voted to leave ca, while the rest of the 30 plus million voted to stay. See? I counted it both ways.
And redcoupe responded to your posting of a blind statistic. We had the biggest housing bubble than anywhere in the US and we are suffering the brunt of the burst.
Still though, I know dozens of people who moved to other states but wish they could come back. And I know a lot of midwestern transplants who are working more than 3 jobs just so they could stay in ca and not have to go back to wherever they came from.
haha these definitions came up when i put in California in urban dictionary:
1. california 3512 up, 881 down love it hate it 1. State the produces more food than anywhere else, has crazy night life, large schools, hot women, a load of stuff to do, and a the longest beach anybody has ever seen.2. A place you'll want to stay in once you visit there.3. Extremely diverse.3. Much more entertaining than Texas.California.
2. California 2391 up, 683 down love it hate it 1. Good Weather2. Great Beaches3. Hot People4. Home to Orange County5. Usually made fun of by people in land-locked states with s***ty weather and ugly hicks who fantasize about f***ing the cast of "the o.c."you wish you had the terminator as your governor
6. california 1300 up, 279 down love it hate it land that endures the verbal abuse of other states and nations while still welcoming the dreams and aspirations of other states and nations. Impossible to stereotype, yet often the subject of the crulest stereotypes.Born and raised in California - I have never hugged a tree, and neither criticize others who do.
The last definition is so true!
