If you leave the screw far away from the TB stop plate then there is a chance if you're coming off of WOT the TB butterfly will hit the walls and shatter. Thus, you want a hair of space between the TB stop screw and the stop plate. Just enough to let it close all the way, just enough to protect it from damage.

I'll try and get pics here in a few days.

Yeah the wheels sticking out is cool to me... I'll be running old school fender flares by the end of the week so it's no matter.

hehehe ^-^ ebay. Not even srpowered240sx could beat their price after shipping. Sorry srman, we tried. Shipping killed it. Basically, if you're in california, talk to him, if not, ebay is probably best :/.

Small update:Got some parts arriving. Surprisingly I don't have one of these yet. Ebay special for 28 bucks shipped. I got tired of waiting for Aworks to get it in stock.

lol it has a really fake nismo badge on the bottom.

I'm putting it on tomorrow, hopefully the subframe bushings arrive too so I can do them this weekend, maybe throw some old tires on there and practice 90 and 180 degree turns (like in the drift bible) with my newly 'acquired' cone lol

tis all for now.

lol derrick If i ever get I will let you know my lip is available :P. But I still don't know if I'd sell it since I plan on a sil coupe someday.

Dude Idaho. I hope to have a small collection too someday lol. For blocking off streets F&F style or creating my own parking lot courses. lol

UPDATE YAY

So i have this friend who's building a 260z with a 2.8T motor... and his shell car had some wheels he sold me for 50 bucks 2 of them are curbed but still hold air kekeke. I'll have them fixed by an alloy shop though. Drift/beater/winter or maybe just oldschool hotness rims is why I'm keepin em. Plus they're badass and getting rare, so my wheel hording begins. Yep they're the Datsun swastikas. 15x6 +10 fitment! probably gonna powdercoat the middle when i pick a color. but i like the stock gold/silver.

Installed test pipe. EZ stuff. I can feel a slight difference. It's nice .

Took my dust shields off the front hubs. I didn't undo the hubs so this is the mess I had :

took like 1.5 hrs total

That's it. I found a bit of rust and covered it w/ rust converter.

Awesome rims! They would make good tires for NiCOfest if you should decide to drift as well as autox it. I'll probably pick up the alloys this weekend, then.

PS- I mean use your new, good tires for NiCOfest Auto-X.

Oh the story I have with the exact same situation. Let's just say it ended in me and a friend getting ambushed by 3 coppers and a returned, previously "acquired" cone.

The diff itself was maybe 250 shipped from jdm land. Tomstyle on ebay is a good dealer, he gave me jdm candy with the diff lol. The output shafts were about the same price only because I payed a hefty shipping price to get them here sooner, plus they were brand new from nissan japan. so they were about 250 also. You can find better deals, I just assumed that the shafts would be the same and would fit, they fit, but not enough teeth in the spline to work correctly. Live and learn.

Update: Sorry I haven't been updating in sooooooo long. I just never got motivation to do it plus I had a statics test that I had to study for which I did just fine and won't have to retake statics for the 4th time haha.

2 weeks ago my clutch slave cylinder died and guess what, I was 33 miles from home in york driving the circuit. I had it towed home to the tune of 135 American Pesos.pics of it on the rollback. This isn't her first time being towed home. the first 2 times were: when I bought it (non running DE swap) 2nd was when the KA's #4 rod bearing slipped and catastrophic failure ensued lol.The next day I rode my bike to work lol, and then drove the old reliable cav (my sister uses it now so it's still family owned) to autozone for a clutch master cylinder, some fluid, and a slave cylinder with dot3&4 synthetic fluid all for less than 65 bucks thank you Autozone! Figured I might as well replace the master cylinder for reliability purposes while I was at it.

Bench bleeding the clutch master cylinder. Much less bleeding to do if you do this before installing.

Took about an hour to install the new clutch hydraulic parts and get them bled.

My j30 brakes are almost done. They are silver now. You won't believe how easy the rust was to get off. I used a method I learned on zilvia with water, baking soda and electricity Burns the rust right off and the brakes look like they were just cast!I had the junkyard rotors resurfaced for 22 dollars lol. cheap sheit.

Now for more pics of my car because it hasn't changed too much since the last updates. Just enjoying it and driving it everywhere doing grip driving/ drifting in the rain keke.

This pic is of Keegan, me and doug's cars before a driving session at night.

The rims will make anyone almost orgasm when u clean them up. I couldn't get enough of the shineyness.

behind circuit city looking into the install garage during our rain drift session on friday? Cops were out looking for us lawl. Trick is to move on to another parking lot frequently.

That's all I have for now, although I should note that the 513's come with chrome centercaps. I just sanded mine down a little with 400 grit wet sandpaper, and sprayed them gloss black to match the rest of the rim. I don't think they'd look as good in chrome.

Lol yeah I felt like a baller when I saw that big fly dead on the lip .

I'll go grab the link, but it's from another forum :O gasp!http://www.zilvia.net/f/showth...moval

One thing to note, you only need 1 charger if you're doing small parts. It takes about 12 to 24 hours to do one caliper minus the slider bracket. so about 3 days for all calipers/sliders to be done. The rust flakes off easily and you'll know when it's all off, it like sheds the rust off and looks like a brand new cast part .

On updates, I actually installed a manual boost controller and it's scary haha. I had to turn it down because it was set at 14psi. I'll be driving it to school in the morning so we'll see how my butt dyno feels, but I love hearing the turbo hit different frequencies now. It's wierd. I guess the more boost the higher frequency the turbo screams, which is a nice sound. It sounds like I'm actually making power now, and not just screaming at 8lbs.

Also I took off my catch tank to fix that ugly fiberglass clear line. I'm glad I did because it wasn't sealing as nicely as the 5/8" rubber lines I used elsewhere., There was maybe like 3 oz. of oil in it, not even reaching the little gauge line thingy, but I was surprised to see it's working, and happy that that oil isn't recirculating into my compressor .

She idles low right now, the safc says 850. Maybe the seal on the catch can did the trick, or it could be the warm weather. Only time will tell.

Small update. I messed up the rebuild kit on one cylinder for my J30 brakes... It cut itself on the jagged edge of the front of the piston where I had to use pliers to get it off (one caliper's pistons were very unforgiving) So I ordered another whole kit lol another 30 bucks, but once that comes I'll be ready to put my big brakes on.

I was bored yesterday and Mrgreeneyes was kind enough to give me his old tension rods with polyurethane bushings in exchange for his old passenger seat lol. He wanted it back because sohc s13 seats rock and we all know it.

So, mine were rusted on there because the bolt was fused to the metal inside the bushing. Took maybe 3 hours of hack sawing upside down and taking lots of breaks because the lack of blood flow to my arms, and I got the old one out.

Then I rode my sweet mountain bike to the local hardware store lol and picked up new bolts with washers and locking nuts woot. Install was a breeze.

I'll be finishing up the other one tomorrow after class, but already with one of them on I can feel a difference in steering response.

I'm really set on some new sway bars. Tanabe sustec anyone have them?I'm almost 100% on them because they are:hollow tubeschromoly steel (stronger)lighter than most antiroll barsstill stiffer than stock 30.4mm front 22mm rear. new frame bushings included.decent price from frsport.com.http://www.frsport.com/Tanabe-....html

what do u guys think? Anyone who has them please chime in.

Lol I'm no lance armstrong man. I ride a mountain bike that I actually take riding on mountains n stuff. It's very fun, can't wait for summer to be here so I can remove the C piller bar and hit the trails!

Found minimal feedback on the tanabe bars on nico... one guy has 2 threads about installation but no feedback on driving lol.
