that blows. i always liked your car when i saw it in your sig. it's really too bad you have to part with it.

since you are parting with your car i was wondering if you would be interested in selling your wheels and/or tires.

Hey it's Eddie from Lancaster I talked to you a few times before...Sucks to hear about your car I never even got to see it....I see you found something cheap to drive for now though....I was gonna ask if you possibly wanted my spare rx7 but you found something...Good luck with finding another 240 though...

Thanks for the help guys but yea, i bought the b13 sentra coupe. grey NON SE-R lol. Just bought the GA16 auto for gas milieage purposes and auto since I've heard 5th gear goes on the ga motors and that's the main gear i'd be using.

pretty clean besides rocker rust. I already installed the injen air filter and advanced the timing (it was retarted to like 4 lol) to 13 degrees. little more than stock 10. 900 bats. well 940 with tax n ****. got a slight lower price.

I have pics of the 240, i just have to finish sending them all to my email from the phone.

tom, dang, missed you by a little bit. i dropped my phone in some water so i don't have your number anymore. i have a friend in lancaster that was willing to let go of a shell for real cheap. actually he has both a coupe and hatch shell. oh well, i guess the sentra will save you on gas money.

Dan, hold on to those contacts that you know of shells from, I'll be back in the 240 game in 2009 sometime. For the moment, here's some pics of the damage and how she sits. I never intended to need demolition tools but now i need a sawzall or something for the rad support.

couldn't believe the light/signal survived

its all moved. and the motor mount sheered right in half.

OMG PBM Drift angle knuckles! ok maybe not.

just a pic of the crumblege

when i was lying on the ground away from the wreckage i heard the E-fan turn on and was slightly relieved because it still worked

pic of the d. side.that's all i have. plz dont ask me for parts I'll let you know when I'm ready.

Thats not as bad as I thought it was going to be....

Go to your local home depo and pick up some tube steel and a welder and..... Viola fixed There's been worse fixed before I think the rad core support could be pulled out with the tree and chain idea! and you can have my fenders once I get new ones. Pull that bumper off asap and if you leave it off for a little bit as just the skin it will pop back out on its own. Then you can ziptie it back together!

I dunno man, I don't have a welder, and even if it is fixable, the frame rail is buckled, and the lower firewall on that side kinda bent back too.

It sucks but i think its barely beyond fixing. at least for what i have time/money for.

kiet, it was on maple grove road.

Sorry for your loss. You had a good build going on which gave good solid information. I hope you will buy another shell and continue on with your project.

That just means its 1 step closer to being rhd.... cut that firewall out and weld in the rhd one and your set! Let me know what you end up doing with the shell it still seems fixable to me.... I have all the time it needs possibly and I have been on the lookout for a wrecked one b/c i've got some plans

Have you found another shell yet?

im sure it is fixable, but only to someone that has either a lot of time or money. as greeneyes said, the frame rail and firewall are both tweaked pretty badly. if you see it in person, you can tell its really bad

man, I read through your whole build thread and it is unbelievable it had to end. I feel your pain though, just three weeks after I bought my first car (90' CRX Si), an S10 decided not to turn left and go straight instead when I had already started making my left at a green light. That was a really ****ty day for me. hope everything goes good for you with your next project!

i just re-read your thread. i see my first swap wiring job... it was good. but the job i did on "lil mike"s car was ten times cleaner. im excited to do my CA18 wiring and your SR harness again when it goes into its new home. just a fore-warning, i plan to have about 15-20 hours of work into my harness on the CA, including planning time. it will be CLEAAAAN. so yeah. get another shell already im jones'n for wiring.

OMG... i just realized that if your motor will be outta your car and at jeff's place... i can take all the time in the world to wire that while its outta the car. im very excite!!! can i do that?!!!?!?!?
