It was a GM paint code. I used a random duplicolor storm grey to lay a base coat because the paint only came in a small can. Charcoal grey metallic was the GM color.

When rattle canning I suggest buying the larger cans lol. It's twice as cheap. My hood was done only with the storm grey (or something comparable to the GM/oem nissan color), and the rear bumper was done with the GM paint.

Hope this halpssssss! Rattle canning can be great, and with a wetsand/buff it can look just as good as regular 3stage.

Thanks for the comments guys she had a good run. I still play out the crash in my mind lol flashbacks...

But I'm actually caring about the sentra now. It's only an SE, but I'll fix the rust and save it from the flames. I should take the opportunity to post the final resting pics of the white elephant's frame:

The guy weighing the car thought he'd ripped me off! It weighed around 900 lbs LOL. That being because I took everything off except for the qp windows, windshield, wiper arms and rear view mirror. Basically I just need a chassis and some coils next time. It was worth 29.xx. At the time of the crash the steel was worth 3x that.

Absolute towing picking it up. Had to pay, like 60 bucks because no junk yard wants a bare bones chassis. Emo moment.

The super nice driver doin his thang. Yeah right beside the washing machine!

My fav pic sorta. Still a beauty. The crane back there looks badass.

Pretend there's no sunken wheels or rust on the ds qp! I'll probably make a new thread for this guy because I want it to be a fun daily, and it deserves to live instead of dying of cancer and being illegal to inspect in a year.cone towhook hehe.Get excite bumper cut out on the right side wall if u look close.

Funny how both my Nissans are nearly identical colors, maybe truely identical haven't done my research.

Ya I will Driftboy. Probably not very soon. Keeping the sentra as a project daily for awhile.Definitely looking for a 5spd swap for the GA. I'm not going for a fwd SR swap on this one just yet. It will be slow because it's my gas milage project at the moment, but I want to fix the paint and body. It's rough and the clear coat is chipping on every panel except hood and trunk/spoiler.

I'd like to put coils on it but then I'd just be spending so much at that point I would be better off getting another 240 shell lol. But who knows, this car will have the goodies someday and be a rly fun daily. Gotta fix the rust and rust proof it/ paint and maybe throw my old rims on her haha!

Yeah HB your 40 is looking RIGHT! I like the rims and black lip yo!

Aw hell no my moped isn't for sale LOL. That's a nice moby though.

I have to finish putting the new(er) rear mag wheel on. It was for a trac, completely different. Right now i'm rockin drift setup 1 mag in front and steely spokes in the rear lulz.

I'm actually looking for a new 'shell.' If I can stealth it by my parents again I'm game for a new project this summer. Jeff my biggest question to u is would ur dad have room again lol? This time we'll be ready and the car will not be a guess and check type of fix situation .

But I still should hold off for a few months to finish the sentra rust so i could sell it if conditions arise. Also I need to replace the head gasket in the ol' SR just because. So still some time, but as long as the economy is bad there are some great deals out there right now for even running 240s.
