Well ok I'll explain it again. I always thought white elephant meant that it was rare to see because a dumb guy told me what it meant when i was 16 and that's what he said. But he was wrong lol.

It's a 93.5 -94 motor. One of the s13 redtops that nissan redesigned a few minor things internally and marketed it still as a redtop (but it has internal features of an s13 blacktop including the probably useless cooling fins in the front lol)They obviously kept the 93.5 motors redtop because it would have been confusing to market the same year cars with 2 different motors colorwise.I'm assuming the ecu was the same though, so it's assumingly easier to tune.

Thanks derrick, yea the hood looks badass and I try to keep the sunroof up especially if i know i'm highway speed on a nice day because of the spoiler effect it has over the middle of the car.

Hood looks cracked up close, but it's a 5 ft job. It's the carbon fiber that's underneath that really only makes me use it, well and the vent. But i like how it flows to my black roof w/ the black inside the vent.

If you note my location of the bov, you'll see why the intercooler is a bit crooked.

I have to fix it when I get newer IC piping. Doesn't bother me though hehe.

yep, the ecu is the same as any other redtop. theres isnt much of a difference just minor things (not that there was much of a difference with teh black top either)

oh btw jeff. the parts number for the rebuild kit on the brake calipers for J30 and Q45's are the same. So the cylinders inside are the same. Not sure about the pads yet, but we actually bought some q45 calipers when we were @ the yard andI can't tell which ones they are lol.

I dunno when I'll get around to those. I did however just order a 3" test pipe though. And I'm looking for bushing collars.I'm really really antsy about my tires coming in. Citytire.com lost my order soooo they gave me another 5% off and sent em out 2 days ago. should be here by thurs or friday just in time for keegan's planned startup date.

But i want them now so we can finish rolling the fenders, and drive w/ em lol. Looks like i'll be bored till thurs

Small update. I was bored today and wanted to correct some understeer i've been noticing since I actually drove my car hard this weekend on our coveted lancaster deserted backroads that will go unnamed.

Soooo, I took a trip to autozone for the best 20 bucks u can spend. Energy suspension rear anti sway bar end links w/ poly bushings to boot!

They are about an inch longer between the A arm and sway bar link, which results in more angle on your bar, which makes the bar work harder and your car have less understeer. stiffening up the rear sway bar= less understeer.stiffening up the front sway bar = better turn-in.

I drove it around a bit and I'm very pleased. Too bad I have stock antiroll bars or i'd be in heaven. I can't wait to hit the hills again with this setup!

I'm getting really antsy cuz my tires didn't come in last week. citytire.com lost my order last SATURDAY, soooooo they're delayed a week. Long story short they'll be here tomorrow or friday. If not then damn .

yo tom check out the sway bars i am getting they come with all new bushings and new end links. plus they are powder coated green and we both know i like green. http://www.240sxmotoring.com/suteswbarkit.html not a bad deal either, plus they are suppose to be one of the best to upgrade to i believe from looking at the suspension forum.

Suspension Techniques data (from CourtesyParts.com)The stabilizer bar kits are manufactured by Suspension Techniques and include all mounting hardware and urethane bushings. Torsional rigidity is increased by 22% over the 27.2mm OE front bar and 182% over the 15.9mm OE rear bar (SE model).

very true. to big will make very little flex which will make you break loose easier.

Thanks for all the good words gentlemen. It's good to see a few heads poke out that I didn't know were still reading the build.

Mmmm there she is. I absolutely love the rims on there. I'm beginning to be a fan of the maxi flush too. Dunno if we'll put the flares on there.I can tell the overall diameter of the tire/wheel is a bit lower because now I scrape the hell outta my lip if i go head on up the curb to get into the driveway. Doesn't look like I'll be going any lower anytime soon haha.

I have a few things to figure outalignment for auto x - i want good handling things to think aboutfront/ rear cambertoe

Tire pressure. I'm gonna run 32::32. i'm not totally diggin the 30::32 atm.ttyl guys i'm really busy trying to squeeze in all the fun out of my last 2 spring break days!

i dunno doug. probably teh sex?

Didderson wrote:yes. It was the screw that keeps the throttle body from closing completely. it's very small with a few nuts (or one) that is like 8mm. Just back that out till your TB will close completely, then put it close so the tb won't break if you let off the gas fast.
so back the screw out till the TB is closed, then open it a little?

what size rims are those?

SRspoolin, naw man just back it out until the TB can close completely. No open at all or you'll get a wierd idle.

The rim sizes are 16x8 +-0 offset.Tires: 195/50/16 all around @ 32psi.

Arg I want to adjust front camber but I can't!

They aren't smoked. Just a lot of red translucent paint. Like 3 layers of krylon stained glass paint.

I like em red. the fronts are smoked but i'll leave the red nice.
