BIIIG update, I hope this starts on page 5 because page 4 will be bad for 56k then.Leading off, I made a brake master cylinder shield out of aluminum sheeting for roofs. Cost me like 2 bucks.
Pic of my pipingpro.com intake kit installed with my Injen filter and N60 MAF. they barely fit in there hehe. only thing is I'm missing the PBM catch tank atm.
Check out my ground bracket I made out of aluminum for the injector and harness grounds. I did this because it's badass and I don't have to lengthen the ground wires, so hopefully more current flow.
When I put the fender liner on for the passenger side (because we ran 4 gauge wire thru the fender liner) I dropped a screw down there. I found lots of leaves so I cleaned out both sides. The driver's side was really bad. I could have planted a tree in that fender well. I rust proofed it w/ rustoleum brown paint after cleaning, but it really hadn't even started to rust. I got lucky.
All the dirt that fell out of this side. It was mixed w/ road gravel too.
Showing the beefy 0gauge wire terminals hooked up. Notice the ground wire IS touching the aluminum brackets. It's ok because they're connected to chassis anyway so they would be able to conduct even if they weren't touching. Just make sure the positive gets nowhere near your brackets. I cut a fuel hose in half and inserted it on the bracket.
Showing my ECU install. Make sure you bolt it in and if you don't, at least run a ground wire for it to chassis. The ecu needs a body ground too. It gets weak grounds from those tiny wires, but do it a favor. I bolted it on the bottom, and ran a ground wire up top also. Pics:here's a better one of the wire.
ECU in place ready for action!
Just a pic of my positive terminal wire running into the rear panel before it snakes along under the carpet on the ps rocker panel. Those seatbelts R fake and yea, some ppl dont like the white, but my car's all shades of grey. I'd rather have these than getting strangled by the power ones, and they weigh less ftw.
I pulled up the carpet near the firewall to show you how Mrgreeneyes ran the 0gague wire into a tap that runs two 4 gauge wires out to the engine compartment. One went to the starter and one went up to power the relays. The extra wire u see going to nothing is just a loop around since we wanted to keep some slack in case i wanted to change it up later on.
This pic is inside the glove box just showing where to snake the SAFC 2 harness. ez stuff.
Install the safc onto bracket however you like. Notice the ground on the radio screw. That's how pro greeneyes is he doubled my radio ground there back this summer for better electron flowwww.
Pic of the motor. I have 3 grounds from the body to the motor itself from varying locations. The more the merrier. Silver looks hot!
Could I be an interior king someday? who knows lol.
That is all for now. I'm going to setup the safc and attempt a test drive
