I forgot :O. I hope you're talking about the one for the KA. It's a hotshot style header, and ya it's for salez. My SR manifold however, is not 4 sale. either one lol.

TYVM idaho. I needed 2 c where those went because your cold pipe is 1 piece ftw.

And yes, the Circuit city fender protectors were a gift from mrgreeneyes lol. You didn't see nothin! ALL OF U!

I put that gasket/plate in today. It wasn't that bad unbolting and rebolting the clucth/flywheel. Maybe about 2 hours. Less if if wasn't so dang cold out there.

um what? um... what fender cover?

gotta take care of your homies and their minty fenders...

besides, we are "Firedog Mobile Installers" now, not "Roadshop", so technically that cover doesnt belong to anyone....

Such an interesting motor ive never even heard that. So they basically just put a red top valve cover on the blacktop and threw that in their? Isnt the blacktop alot better???

omega, read this thread, it'll clear up a lot of your blacktop/redtop questions. You're right on track. They just put the redtop valve cover on the blacktop block and head. It's been redesigned slightly. My guess is they redesigned it but didnt want half the models that year coming with 2 colors of valve covers lol.

Loving that valve cover and transmission paint... Whenever I find a clean S13 shell I'm doing a build up and cleaning and repainting every little thing so you can eat off it. Or maybe just drive that and clean up my kouki, who knows. Very nice build, I'm def following it

^ np dude, i just wanted sum1 to halp me shove the trans in /emo

Anyway, instead I just cut holes and remounted the washer reservoir crooked so the cold pipe fits. It's going to take a bit of imagination to mount the intercooler, and I have to get some metal to mount it, but it fits nicely. Although I would like to cut my 5mph bumper a bit.

I cut the holes with a drill and chisel lol. connect the dots ftw!I'll post pics later this morning (230 am).L8

I'll probably fiberglass over those extra holes from the battery cover. I'm no welder (I don't even own one). I wish i could, but I would have had more holes without the trusty chisel!
offroadbob wrote:^ stupid guy getting the 10 post limit for the classifieds I want to him.
lol it's ok I guess, looks like he's going to look to buy one (sig).

Thanks to global warming and all us rebels running with gutted cats/test pipes, it was about 50 deg. out today in SE PA. I got a lot done but it doesn't look like a lot. It was more finding what goes where and working with adapters...

On with the pics, this one's just showing my cleaned ports and stuff, we're going to put the intake mani on last because of the wire hiding/ tucking for injectors.

My undented oil pan that i scored on ebay for $25 shipped came, I scraped the old shizt off the block and pan, and even opened the oil sump hole a little like koukichick did, but no drilled holes up top.

I'm just trying to help ppl with their swaps on this one. FYI you don't have to unbolt your PS lines, just change the black bracket on the PS pump and it fits just fine :D now you have an extra for when it breaks!

Showing off the new downpipe and red rtv on teh oil pan. Driveshaft is in, as well as the transmission is secure!

Idaho's intercooler: nice middle of the road core size. N60 MAF to be wired up.

I can't get the O2 bung out of the stock downpipe for my smaller O2 sensor, I'm going to look for a new adapter cuz this thing is a *****.

Hooked up 1 cooling line because I didn't have enough adapters 'doh. You can get them at lowes and yes you'll need them for your swap. Brass adapter, check the pic nub!

More tomorrow afternoon, deadline closing in, hopefully I can get Mrgreeneyes over here to start wiring on Monday.

SOLD! haha..Thanks offroadbob .It's dawned on me that I'm going to do the right things instead of cheap out to make this work well. That means I'll just have to get a hardpipe somehow, an SAFC2 for my N60 maf, and a big cooling fan (pending sale). I'll be good to go, but with buying books for school on the 14th and waiting for unemployment to get in, I'll be broke as hell. Reason I'm unemployed is cuz the restaurant I work at temporary lays off its workers for 2 months while tourist season is slow, then rehires, so it's not worth much to look for another job, this one suits me well, so I'll wait it out but hopefully get some compensation. I feel bad tho, but my mom ensures me that I've paid into the system and I'm not leeching it even tho i feel like it :/.

On with the swap pics.Doesn't look like a lot, but I got the slave cylinder in, starter, ebay shifter and the rest of the heater hoses to the firewall done. Keegan/ Mr. Greeneyes came over at like 6:30 and he's a fvcking pro honest to God and basically re did my whole wiring harness using the FRsport Writeup and then he's hiding wires, re loomed the whole harness (2 rolls of electrical tape so far) and he's shoving some extra wire back into the firewall beyond the gromet for looks. He requested I not show it until the finished product lol. I hope we do a write up for you guys because more people need to learn. Even tho I didn't touch the harness most of the time you learn a lot from watching **** like this go down.

Interior's back 2gether aside from the ecu area. I'm not that cheap real sparco baby, I'd love to finish it w/ a "ring" sparco steering wheel someday.

New cast alluminum polished 2.5" flange with pipe to fit the BOV in better.

Finished the heater core lines. Balling Brass adaptors: can't touch this baller status Yokota By simply cutting the pipe I've eliminated the roller coaster most people's core lines end up looking like. Granted I swung this one low to avoid kinks.EDIT: Don't forget to use white lithium grease as it's good for the rubber and really helps slide the tubes on things. Gotta lube up your girl before u git her going...

That's all for tonight, 2morrow I'll be starting with the IC piping fitting it up finally.Come over anytime WC, my last few hours of work (cleaning the chairs in the upstairs dining room ugh) begin at 9, so I'll be done by 12.
