Brandon is not yet done with my lights, there are LED strips and demon eyes going in as well, but he needed to get the lights back to me so I can take the car in for another prototype while the LED's and demon eyes, and shroud come in.

Sorry it took me this long to respond back. The second set of headlamps were bought from a scrap yard. They were under $500 and I had to buy a second set because I couldn't not drive my car, it's the only one I have.

Brandon, I will be getting my headlamps in sometime this week. Let me know when I can send them out to you but I wanna make sure that mcheddadi get first dibs to this because he is the one who put this all together for us.

try ebay.....but with this new development, the headlights on ebay are going to be scooped up from people on here as soon as theyre listed on ebay. i would say your best bet is a junk yard, or just buy them new and then sent him the new ones, and when you get them back with the projectors in them sell your old ones to someone on here or list them on ebay.

Ok guys, here are some of the pictures as promised.

low beams are off right now

low beams on

Now for the ugly part, so the next time I drop the lights off, Brandon will need to adjust the projectors cutoffs so they are horizontal and not slanted, while it kinda looks cool but not very safe.

Looks like you got a dead pixel in your camera. I just bought a new one that had that same problem.

hmmmm, I was feeling these until I saw the light pattern... looks like you're loosing light exposure in the center of the road.... I'm not feeling these regarding light output at all ... BIG let down for me!

Well I believe that's because the projectors/cutoffs are not aligned properly at the moment. They tilt inwards to the center of the car and hence loose light output at the center of the vehicle. Once the cutoffs are give a more horizontal pattern I do not think this will be an issue, but I could be wrong. Brandon is did ask me to take these pics for him, and that he will need to tweak several things before they are 100% ready, but he needed them on the car to see.

I know they are not properly adjusted but the light output doesn't look wide enough, hopefully that's not the case when all is said and done.

I know you guys are wondering about the cut off but its just because it was rushed and i wasnt sure how the lights would sit on the car, when i get the lights back this week it will be fixed in no time. we may switch over to the bmw projector as there is more room with it, as this was a prototype the infinity fx bi xenon was all we had in stock here. i have a few more lights comming in this week but i would need the car for a bit more time to try things out and had to have the car back and ran out of time on the lights.

s4 or bmw are the best bet for this as there a bit smaller. honestly if i had another day with the lights i could have had everything lined up perfectly just spock had to have the car back to get the y pipe fitted and we are planning to do l.e.d and angel eyes so it would give us another chance as well.

yep sorry guys, its just ****ty timing that both prototyping happened at the same time. I really had very little time this weekend other then saturday to install the lights and have the car dropped off for tomorrow. After they are done with my car, I will drop off the lights back off to Brandon, or when he gets the LED's and Demon Eyes.

Brandon, now you are saying that the tsx projectors are low beam only...so that d2r or d2s bulb that you are going to be putting in are lo/hi beam bulbs in one and the projector lenses that you are using support this? Can we opt to have a low beam projector only and keep the use of our regular high beam bulbs?

the bulbs that go in the car can be used either with low or high beam projectors. its the projector that determines if you have bi xenon or not. the projectors relatively look the same but inside bi xenon there is a solenoid that controls a shield that moves up and down depending if you flick on the high beam or not.

when i get spocks car back im putting the led signals in and going to try bmw projectors for a bi xenon set up and everything should be fine then

I see, ok now a couple questions if you don't mind, I know it's late but I want to get this out of the way.

1) If I opt to have the projectors low beam only, can you do that?

2) Would it be better if I search for the Projector themselves and send them to you with the headlights or no?

for the projectors its best for me to get them as i can get better prices on them and know which ones will work in your car. also you can get low beam only thats not a problem, its all about preference and your lighting needs.

L.e.d turn signals should be in anytime this week

Pretty harsh comments considering there not done yet and will be fixed by the end of the week
