the ones that i have comming in you have to mount yourself, can either use double sided, the good one that they use to hold body panels on cars, glue, silicone or what ever else you can think of.

ok...looks great....watch where the square part of your projetor sits to the outside of the of the reflector..(on the upper left)....look at this pic on one of my RnD shroud fittings....look at the low beam projector....see where the paint is roughed?....that area is actually beloe the top reflector ridge and does not exceed outside the recflector perimeter...the top bezel over laps it quite abit...i promise mch and the others i wouldnt be showing my light anymore unitl they are on my car...but i feel my experience with this particular light and playing with it may help you...as i know your a pro at this and my set up is really a one off and in no way a mulit produce item!also...the only two square points on this light for align ref....are the two bottom bolts at the back of the reflector and the high beam center is a few millimeters of center from the low!...this is a Biatch to aling!..i still dont think i got it right!i hope this helps..your looks awesome!took me 2 months to get where you are in 2 days!

edit note:i just looked at the pics of the rear of the hid housing compared to mine...i have a 3.5 with the stock halogens....they do come stock with halogens....and the rear of the housing is different!!! if you want ill post up pics of it....im noting this cause methods what will work for some may not work for all! gotta love manufacturers' designers...they make it hard for us to better their work!

Lights and Grill are by far (imo) the two biggest disappointments with this car. I cant wait to see these.

Also brandon . . .I emailed you, did it get jacked by some spam filter?

the projector in the low beam housing looks to be pointing in the opposite direction, did you have any problems with it?

nah its dead straight.....i aligned using a wood dowle through the stock bulb hole...then centered off the glass holder on the projector through the dowel using a rig i made to simulate the light being attached to the car.....its more an optical illusion than anything. if u look at it from the top...the holders are straight with the grooves at the bottom of the stock housing...like i said..this thing's a biatch to align...

ok guys im running a little bit behind, to be honest the first set of shrouds i went with i had them in and the lights fully sealed and ready to go, but in my opinion i didnt like the final look, so i stripped them down and built some new shrouds from scratch, with a nice wrinkle finish to them. waiting for everything to dry before i put them back together, should be done in about an hour or so

oh forgot to mention i was talking to spock about the lights and they look to be lined up and leveled but its hard to tell without having the car here and not knowing how the lights will sit and at what height, so once he gets them back hes going to see what the cut offs like if its angled or what not, and if its not straight i told him we will be able to fix it once the angel eyes and l.e.d comes in since well have them apart anyways.

one of the things you have to watch out for in leveling, making sure that theyre pointed at the right height, etc. is that some cars my be lowered and some might not. are you taking advantage of the stock height adjustment screw, or will they have to be adjusted otehrwise?

wowza.. I cant wait to se this!! scratch the lip spoiler adn rockers, What would the total cost for an HID setup (for a non-HID 2.5) with projectors and demon eyes with LED white turn signals come up to? lol.

(this all assuming I dont end up coupeless over a vibration -.-.. in which case Ill re-pursue my original hunt for a G35 in good shape!)

for the adjustment, there 2 way adjustable. one is inside the light and they use the factory alingers as well.

should have pictures up of the lights tomorrow at noon, the shrouds are killing me, the design i went with the first time i didnt like. the second time i didnt like how it was 2 parts so the final time is a one piece item that should be ready in the morning, cant say its going to be anything like fiberglass but it should add a nice flow to the headlights and give them an oem look. so the unveiling is looking to be noon on saturday

if we tell you our setup....for instance i have a sedan, not lowered......will you be able to adjust them to the proper aiming heights yourself, so that when we get the headlights back we can just throw them on our cars and have nothing to worry about?

I'm going up to the hospital later today to sell random body parts so I can get them

Are we going to have a sign up list so we can have an order of who gets them first? If so, I call shotgun or are we using the interest thread to decide an order?

I believe mcheddadi should have a reserved seat at No.1 because he brought the whole thing together, I dont think we would even have any of this going on without him doing everything he did to originally get the ball rolling.
