UPDATE: Every company in red means that there is a high chance that they could help usI know Grystrm is working on his DIY projector headlamps, but I'd like to give a little kickstart for some aftermarket headlights assemblies with projectors. So here is your mission fellow NICOclub altima coupe and sedan enthusiasts. Find companies, Ebay sellers or aftermarket tunning house that make projector kits, whole projector housings, angels eyes, HID kits or whatever related to headlights.

and get their contact info and POST IT HERE. Then send them this pre-made email I did:Hi! I'm a member of NICOclub. We have a very active forum with people that have the newly released 2008 Altima coupe and 2007+ sedan, and there is a real demand for projector headlights with possibly some angel eyes. some forums members have tried many different compagnies, like lightwerkz, automotivelightstore, "AAC Enterprises LLC" etc...

here is a thread with a poll gauging interest in the headlights

http://forums.altimas.org/zerothread?id=329307

as you can see there is a demand for it, and people are willing to buy them right now. If you can make some for us that would be awesome. I'm sure there would be a member of the forum that could have his car prototyped. And since SEMA 2008 is coming up and we have at least two confirmed altima coupe and one altima sedan with members from NICOclub on display, your projector headlights could get massive coverage and that means lots of sale plus the exclusivity of being the first and the only ones for a while.

here are some photoshops and pics of the possibilities :http://i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc21 ... utoff5.jpg http://i217.photobucket.com/albums/cc21 ... C-v6-1.jpg

Hope you can help us out! :-)

please don't forget to post their contact info and try to call them on the phone too! If you do get in contact with them, please say so here so we can go at them aggressively

here is the current list or companies or peoples to call and email guys, don't hesitate to contact them even if other member have contacted them!(unless they confirmed that they CANNOT help us):

2nd UPDATE:Hello Mike,

Just called our local Nissan dealership and they will be delivering a new set of Altima Coupe headlights to our shop today for me to R&D on. We can easily make a DIY CCFL or LED halo kit similar to the first picture you sent me. The projector retrofits on the other hand are not something we can make a DIY for. With our type of custom work, especially with retrofits its a low quantity, high quality type of project.

We are already working on custom lights for several SEMA vehicles but if you have members that are also appearing we may be able to do something for them.

I am a NICO member as well although I rarely have the chance to post. I am all over the Lexus boards but also have a Nissan (R33 GTR V-spec) in the garage.

I will let you know what I come up with when I get the lights in hand!

thanks for the 3 mikegtr06!

hidillusionz (thanks bina12834!!)http://hidillusionz.blogspot.com/here is the post about the info on the retrofit....

"so i finally spoke about prices to Richard. Like i said hes an independant guy. Companies online charge about $400+ for retrofits. Hes about to start hes own stuff online as well. now he does retrofits, sells OEM hid gear, bulbs, projectors, etc. For me he will leave same price should many people decide to do retrofits with him. He mentioned he does many many retrofits with many forums on the web. Usually he has one guy per forum that gives out his props and get customers, since he cannot be in every single forum reading and posting. He asked if i liked i can be that guy here. Hes gonna send me pics of many of his work for me to post here. So price if you send everything to him. And when i mean everything:

2 headlights2 projectors2 shrouds/bezel if u bought it somewhere else.***he sells his own shrouds/bezels if u want to buy from him to use on ur retrofit***

$320.00

prices includes all labor to open headlights, install new projectors, align new projectors, paint ur interior (usually black) since black kills glare from projectors inside your headlights, re-seal headlights, and shipping back to you, 2-3 usps priority mail. designs of ur headlights and everything else you will discuss with him as he works on ur headlights. i remember when i did my first retrofit with him i paid about $400.00 since retrofits where rare and very few people where doing it. if u interested or want information PM me. After-wards i can forward his info to you so you may get in contact with him."

(Please guys search and post some more so I can update it here)

projectors = a must. i would purchase right away.

angel eyes = i believe the only way angel eyes would install cleanly would be if they were connected to a circular projectors because the our inner lights our not circular.

VERSA PROJECTORS

Versa' projectors with angel eyes run 320$, so I'm guessing the altima projectors will be between 350 and 400 if they are massproduced and maybe up to 700$ if they are custom made

If someone could contact Spec-D tuning http://www.specdtuning.com/ it would be great. They seem to have all the aftermarket nissan projector headlights available and they are in California. If they aren't the one that make the headlights, they will at least be able to give use the name of the company that does

I contacted CustomLightz a long time ago. They aren't in the business of mass producing headlights. You send in your light and give them a design and they'll do it for you. My order came out to be like $600.

I also talked to AACstyle... They only add angel eyes. They wil not add projectors to a housing. Also they want the prototyper to pay

If nothing else comes up ill send them my lights with some of Spec-D tuning's projector images so that they can make some sweet projector headlights.

and I updated the list with the new companies mikegtr06
