Altima_Coupe wrote:brandon, can you provide us a type of "menu" style pricing for the more common things so we can kinda get an idea. some ideas:Base price-Each Projector- Black Housing-HID bulbs ( 6000k, etc)-LED strip-

Just some of the basic stuff. That would be mucho appreciated. Thanks.
basically the basic set up for people with factory hid is $400projectors vary on price unless we do a huge order or else you can pay anywhere from 80-800 for projectors depending on the kind and the market value. we can just black out the housing for $50Hid bulbs varry if you go with phillips oem bulbs they range from 50-150,aftermarket can varry from 40- 90

thats the problem with doing one light at a time as alot of these products arnt manufactured for sale to the public there made to go in cars and usually projectors come from wrecked cars so the value can change so much. also alot of times we get nailed import charges from china and the u.s which is where some of the cost goes. last week on i recieved a set of projectors that where only $140 and the import tax was 55 on them. hope this helps guys

yeah the best would be a massive order of projector to get the cost down, thats the point of making the poll in the first place

40 people wanting projectors and some wanting dual = 40projector min and max 80 projectors .

I don't remember that blacking the housing was a payable option, didn't you say that either keeping it clear or blacking it didn't matter? for a massive groupbuy, something like this could be a free option as part of the 400$ base price *hint* *hint*

I have emailed him about this he has asked me to drop off the lights, but I flew in back from Edmonton, and I need to wake up and head to work tomorrow. So I will need to exchange some times with him and see what I can do.

ok guys where looking for another car to do work on, were in the works with a few people that are not waiting for a prototype and our placing orders for various items that we did to the lancer and we have about 3 people so far, im willing to take deposits for the first set we can do say 10 now then another set of how many others we have. this way for people unsure they can see some people with the set up, were looking at doing for the first set only bi xenon projectors with angel eyes for 500 and after that the prices will most likely go up.

if anyone is interested in getting in on the first batch of 10 where looking for roughly 7 more pending the other 3 still go through and will be taking deposits of 250 for them you can email me or post here

thanks,

400 is still the price, and will be for the single set up. it meant that the price for the bi xenon would go up after the first few, it was a typo, sorry about that. we where looking to do 5-10 bi xenon set ups depending on our supplier getting them in, but hes having trouble sourcing them right now so it looks like i wont be able to get more then 3 sets in for atleast another week or 2, the low beam set ups are no problem and i can go with other bi xenon projectors but that would mean making the price jump and its not something i want to do to you guys

$400 is for the low beam set up$500 is for the bi xenon set up with the harness. and then you can add your extras in on top of that, but amber removal and blacking out the light or what ever other colour you want is included$250 deposit

sorry about the confusion

Hi Guys,

I am making arrangements to drop off my lights to Brandon, but I believe there is a walkthrough on removing the lights, I tried searching for it but cannot find it, if some one has it bookmarked. please post so I can remove my headlights and get the ball rolling on the whole process.

But was it not said that baking the headlight will work for the 2.5 altima's and not the 3.5 because the manufacturer used a different sealant for the headlights?

ive recieved alot of emails about the concern of the glue used. i believe its called rubber butyl and its not a problem we have done lights before with this type of sealant

Jesus man, I posted that today from work ........... Hopefully Brandon will give me a time and day were I can make drop the lights off to him. Today when I get home If I do not have to pick up my center caps for my wheels I will immediately park the coupe in the garage, take off the fascia and remove the headlights.

Sorry guys some of us work 8:30-5:30 Monday to Friday. I assure you all I am doing my best to get the headlights to Brandon ASAP. And as I have stated before I flew back home last night at midnight from a cousins wedding, so I didn't even have a chance to do anything over the weekend. LOL I am sure the GF won't appreciate me spending time with the car then her but I willing to take a bullet for the team

I personally want my headlights blacked out, projector retrofits, have demon eyes on the projector, and an LED strip, however I another crazy idea, run it by brandon and see how feasible it is, and lol how costly its going to be. However I want the LED strip to be amber.

I am sure Brandon will have pics up first hopefully when I post pics of my coupe you guys can see it with projectors and my work emotion xt7's with center caps. :p

I really like these. But lose the amber on the side, blacked out, and put a led strip in for the turn signalhttp://www.pure-performance.ne...3.gif

alright guys i am picking up the lights tomorrow so we are good to go. im getting alot of emails about doing a dual projector, to be honest theres a few reasons why not to. first the cost with it isnt worth it, second you can do a bixenon set up if you really want projector high beams, third there isnt that much room in the altima coupe to go with 2 seperate headlights. also when we have the light apart on tuesday we are going to measure it for l.e.d strips and angel eyes incase anyone is interested, it also depends on the size of the projector if you want your angel eye to go around it. the set up where doing is going to be blacked out with a bi xenon set up, custom shroud, bulbs modified, harness to power the high beams, turn signal in the old high beam and well try to keep it as stock looking as possible.

honestly anything you can think of, we can even get colour matched into a can as long as we get your paint code and vin number, its about 35 for a can for the custom colour i believe, but we can do what ever you guys like.

just want to know what you think for blacking out for the prototype. do you want the whole thing blacked out with the signal left chrome or what parts would you like to see done in black?

I would like to see it completly blacked out, or maybe through some chrome on some of the edges. I really like grystrm's projector.http://forums.altimas.org/zero...age=1

Or depending on the color of the coupe, through some color match in on the accents. I have a white coupe,so seening the lights in blk and white would be sick.

Almost forgot, maybe no turn signals in the lights would be nice to, that is because some of us might be planing to do Dangeris's sequential led turn signals.

Or even better if you could through a led strip up top for a sequential turn signal and down low for running lights. Kind of like the Audi R8 stlye running lights
