That's cuz this thread is awesome! I totally want these when they're done, but may have to wait a little to save up the money to buy.mcheddadi wrote:damn, almost 4K view in less than 2 weeks! this thread is breaking new records
In Illinois (pretty sure this holds for the rest of the US), blue is illegal unless you're driving an emergency vehicle. I got pulled over for it (I had white lights that had a slightly blue hue to them and the cop gave me a warning for it). I would image you should try to stay away from blue/purple or anything that can be construed as blue. White might be ok, but sticking with an amber/yellow would probably be your best bet. Guess it probably depends on the mood of the cop that sees it.maxentropy wrote:God question Domdada. I'm also wondering if anyone knows the legalities in the USA for turn signal colors. I'm guessing any 'modified' lighting is illegal to be used on the road, so the trick is to make it look stock. Audi has the R8 strips so white leds or amber leds shouldn't be an issue.
Has anyone else seen any other LEDs on the front of any stock vehicles? Post pics! If its stock for them, it'd be legal for us!
Wow... I actually really don't like those... I mean, don't get me wrong. The rest of the car is beautiful, but the shape of the headlight enclosure which the LEDs trace is just not the way it should of been done...rjdmmfl1 wrote:The new Aston Martin has LED's similar to the new Audi
lol... you gotta see this thing in person... one drove past me in San Diego this morning, I had to do a double take... the things was like moving in slow motion... this car (and the eadlights) in my opinion is beautifulSith LL_Coupe wrote:

wow...this is crazy.. guys, think about where we were a couple months or even weeks ago regarding our lights. we all thought it was close to impossible to get inside our lights. and thanks to the creators of this thread, and of course brandon, we are now awaiting pictures of projectors headlights.brandonbeeb wrote:projectors are mounted, everything is ready to go except the shrouds, im trying to come up with something different then usual so bare with me guys
There is a how to, seriously its easy to do. Just note you have to remove your front fascia to do so.Shift_Altima wrote:damn that's nice. i can't wait. i hate to be the one asking all the dumb obvious questions.. but how do you take out headlight housing? and if it's done by someone how much will it cost to take out and put back in?
