Please email me at [email protected]
payment sent, oh and no dice on bilstein. I'm gonna call and see if they can custom build, but I doubt that will be possible.ClutchKick wrote:Installation could be done your self in a driveway on jack stands.
It is really unbolt and bolt on.
For those with higher mileage (id say 60K and higher). I would advise on replacing the dampers at this time since it would save you some work. As well as changing brake pads / rotors as well if you are getting close. Since you are essentially removing the complete front strut assembly along with unbolting the caliper / removing rotor.
Any mechanic can perform the installation.
All emails so far have been replied to.
send me a price quote if you would.ClutchKick wrote:not sure what they use besides OE... It would be harder to import those since gas filled etc.. but, I can look into it.
I can offer OEM replacements if desired as well as any other OEM parts for the Y34 and can combine shipping if the part can fit SAFELY in with the springs.
Some models have changeable cartridges, like in the G20 and older Q's, but unfortunately, it is not serviceable / changeable in the Y34 and pretty much all newer NISSAN / INFINITI vehicles.
The price of the OE parts is not too bad...
I had my springs replaced a week ago w/ tein s techs. took it to local shop- edo performance in huntington beach. They mainly work on subaru and g35's. They originally told me 2 hours to swap. It turned out to be a 5 hourjob.LaCapitalRue wrote:I am in. What's typical installation charge? How much time/labor?
I'd like my Independent Acura mechanic to handle. Can any mechanic handle?
Yes, the rears are “cake” I came close to taking my rears out and received an education from a couple of sources The entire rear job shouldn’t take more than 15 minutes once it’s on a lift. Personally, I would not recommend this job in a drive way on jacks. You will need some serious leverage and concrete and a hydro jacks may be dangerous. The inner bolt and nut nearest the wheel (Blue B) will be the only thing you’ll need to remove and like ClutchKick said, the seat will lower with some pressure.ClutchKick wrote:rear is cake though... just unbolt the lower control arm / lower spring seat (same arm) and pull it down...
I watch this site like 10 times a day. I got busy yesterday and didn't log in till this morning. What is the price as of today?ClutchKick wrote:Ok we are on.

Do we need all ten orders for shipment or will they ship as they are paid for?ClutchKick wrote:The first 5 have been paid for.
The price did not increase on the springs so we are ok for the next ones.
So anyone else who would still like to purchase the springs let me know.
So with the TEINs, how much inner clearance remains in the front and back? Anyone?ClutchKick wrote:The first 5 are on order since they are paid...
It takes generally 45 days for them to be imported...
The first 5 who have paid will have them shipped as soon as they arrive.
Of course, will keep the thread updated.
