Hey ClucthKickwheel bearing??? hmmm. interesting. what is the result of these going bad? Clicking, noise????ClutchKick wrote:I just do not know of any aftermarket ones, especially for the front, since the front strut has to have the front wheel bearings pressed on...
INFINITI does not even sell re-fill cartridges (damper inserts) so you have to purchase a new front strut all together, and since you are removing that bearing that is pressed on / off.. you would be best to purchase a new front wheel bearing as well.
I do have all the OEM parts available as well for this vehicle and will offer the same forum prices I offered before... email me with any part requests...
I just got my wheels installed on Thursday and I now I got "the-jones-in-my-bones" for the lowering springs...How can I confirm if I am in the 1st shipment or 2nd shipment?ClutchKick wrote:At the moment, I just have the 5 springs on the way that have been paid for...
I can order additional springs if anyone would like...
Been lurking for a while. Just bought a one owner '03 with 37K for 16.9K. It goes on a truck in Dallas Tuesday for delivery Wednesday. (fingers crossed)ClutchKick wrote:At the moment, I just have the 5 springs on the way that have been paid for...

$500 seems resonable. I got the allignment & springs done for approx 550-575 at the Infiniti dealer. Now, keep in mind that the rears are the easiest and will take no more than 20 minutes once its up on the lift, so that may be a good negotiating(sp) point to bring up when getting a quote.xxNite wrote:yeah... I'm a shlubb, too... I can't seem to get these put on by anyone at a reasonable price and during a reasonable time.... Dealership want $1000 plus alignment fees. local shops want $500 plus alignment fees. Only found 1 place kinda far that only wants $375 including the alignment. I am holding out for them but have been too busy to schedule an appointment for a Saturday since the are an hour+ drive, they may need 5 hours to do the work and mull over issues, etc...
You can do that on your maxima, 350z, altima, 240sx, sentra, and newer M35/M45...THT wrote:Matt, the job can be done in an hour on a lift. A friend of mine did the suspension on my Maxima in 45 minutes
I'd be willing to bet he can knock it out in the same time. This is the guy who dropped an auto trans and put a manual on in four hours...in a garage.ClutchKick wrote:

but this is the 03-04 M45 we are talking about...
