We are not done yet! We still have to finish gauges and exhaust. Maybe a video or two of Cam learning to use a clutch and trying to get up the drivewayThuG LyFe wrote:anymore updates?
Oh man, i remeber when i was 13 and my dad still had his old 911 turbo saab, and he would let me drive once in a while. I thought i was so good at driving then he told me to go up the driveway and that thing was steep lmao Long story short i stepped on the gas to hard and almost drove through the wallgmac708 wrote:

I ended up making my own lines and swaging the SR ends on the hoses and using the SR compressor.137 wrote:Hey mac, I was wondering did you guys ever come to a resolution on what to do with the ac on the car? I know someone here made brackets but ended up falling through on their endeavor.
Just curious what you did to make it work?
Hrmn I read this earlier in the build but I guess I just didn't soak it in, as far as the service connection, that's the inlet where the freon goes in. I was trying to avoid doing custom lines, plus my system is charged with freon so draining that is a little worrysome for me. Since it's HAZARDOUS materials and what not.gmac708 wrote:

Time for a recap??????
Ends up like this. This was first the attempt. I had no way of servicing the low side, so I had to cut and insert a service connection.
Here is the hose with the service connection and some heat protection wrap.

It sucks that the old compressor will not work. It is easy to fab the hoses, and you can find somebody to recover the R134. You gotta have AC.A few pages back I had the pages with the AC lines you need (OEM). They would be for the S14 with L/H drive. My engine was for R/H drive and the AC evaporator would have been on the L/H side of the car so my hoses were too short (they were also cut). I bet a certain "white comet "could provide the P/N?!?!?137 wrote:

The exhaust was supposed to come in on Friday. That was pushed back until Monday. That was today...They sent one for non turbo...2 1/2... I was supposed to get 3"Nismo24zero wrote:did you get your exhaust manifold through your local speed shop or off a website. i live near about 10 minutes outside youngstown ohio and was looking for a good place to get one from without having to pay an arm and a leg for shipping. so please let me know thanks.
