Hello, i am new to the 240sx scene and i just got my first car which is a 1991 240 coupe. Its an automatic and i'm wanting to put in a 5speed swap. Any suggestions on where i can find a clean 5speed swap? and also how difficult the swap will be.

That should be able to take anything you can throw at it, and more.

240sx, Infiniti J30, Skylines, 180sx, 300zx... damn near everything RWD that Nissan made in the late 80s and 90s.

Check out Nico's www.240sxtech.com.

well im glad this post is here because i am new to this company. I have always owned Honda's and really got bored with them. Just wondering what supporting mods work best with the 92 ka24de engine. it is a fastback with coilovers, short shifter and a intake filter. only has 92k miles on it and not planning to boost till next summer. thanks for any help as i know there are a lot of opinions out there but i would like to get some fresh new ones!

wish i would have gotten into nissan's sooner, i have had the car for less than 24 hours and absolutely love it

They actually do respond really well to suspension. Other than that, exhaust will net you some gains too. Nothing comes close in cost/hp (AKA "value") to forced induction though. Boost it and fix stuff as it breaks.

Yes, the diff would hold it.

If you have a 2-way clutch type LSD (or any aggressive differential for that matter), it will make lots of noise in corners and such.

So I ordered my coilovers and recently discovered this wiring harness problem, no one has said if it depends how low you are or not so, will I have to tuck the fender wire harness up in between the fender? Stance GR+ pro coilovers, 17x8 +22, 225/45/17 tire on an S14.

It depends on how low you go. That being said, you have to go pretty damn low to hit. If you put it where you want, and you hit, just jack it up a bit until you can get the harness tucked.

On a scale of 1 to 10 how hard is it to install rucas? And what would make one front wheel stick out a little further than the other?

I've never done them, but it should be fairly easy... maybe a 3? 4 if you live somewhere rusty. You'll need an alignment after you do it.

One front wheel sticks out farther than the other eh? Is there a spacer in there? Is the toe the same?

Welcome to NICO Sam!
The only thing you NEED to do a 5 lug swap is the hubs, but you might want to do wheel bearings while you are in there. Here's some threads that should help you out.

I thought there was something on www.240sxtech.com to do it, but I couldn't find it. It might be in there with 300zx brake swaps though.

When you get an alignment, they'll be able to tell you. Take pics if you can, and post them up.

Alright, I was adjusting my rear view mirrors and I accidentally removed the screw in the back and I'm having trouble screwing it back in. Is the mirror supposed to be in a specific position to get the screw back in?

Also how hard is it to remove the mirror without removing the mount? I see double in my mirror and I was thinking about getting it replaced. What mirrors would you guys also recommmend?

I'm not gonna lie, I have never messed around with any rearview mirror in any car, ever.

It was an accident... How much would one at the dealership cost usually? I tried to rescrew it in but the bolt wouldn't align properly.

If I were to get a Wink Mirror, would I need to drill any special holes or anything?

I cant remember, but maybe someone does.

Who made the intercooler / radiator kits for the S13 which allowed them to bolt together and hide the intercooler, all with fans on it. It was a kit that had the special intercooler, special radiator, and all hoses that was bolt in, looked stock and really hid the intercool from sight.
