Ok guys well im picking the car up Friday but already have a few parts laying around and figure ill go ahead and trow up what the next project will be.

The plan is to get it home and start taking all the suspension apart and look into getting some body work done.
after that get some paint on here and going to town on the underside.

I need to get it to a shop to see about taking care of some rust on the roof but ill work that out after i get it home and see how bad it really is.

On to a few pics.

As far as the rust spot im sure it should be fine my coupe has the same rust spot and its just surface but it eats up the paint quick

Thanks man, its going to be coming together fast so keep an eye on it.

As for the rust im really not to worried about it. if its to the point where i need to start cutting and welding, well thats just what ill have to do i guess.

What up guys?

Really pissed right now, been working on the car all day long hoping and praying that some parts i needed would come in. after about 3:30 i still didn't have anything i ordered so i called up andys autosports ( i talked to them yesterday and they assured me the parts would be here by 3:00 today) long story short after almost an 2 hours on the phone with them (on hold most of the time) they tell me that none of the parts i ordered where in stock and it would be at least 2 weeks before i received most of it.

Anyways never ever ever do busy with those guys. After drooping over $2000 on one order and being told 2 or 3 times that it would be here today they finally tell me i wont see anything for 2 weeks.

f*** pissed.

Time to watch the bama game and cool of a bit.

damn!! that suck! i would be pissed! and yea i waited a month and threes days for my apexi noir exhaust to get to me. so i know exactly how you feel. you would think if you spend so much they would take better care of you. but i guess not..

Its not the fact that its going to take a little time to get here ( a lot of the stuff i got is made to order) but its the fact that they told me 3 times it would be here today and now they are saying well we haven't even shipped it out yet because we don't have it in stock....

Anyways picking up the coilovers tomorrow and hopfully my gasket kit will be here soon so i can get that all worked out.

That sucks man, im rockin the stock exhaust right now. Somthin about this 85hp + no exhaust nose is nice man. i mean dont get me wrong when the 500hp KA is in it will just be open dump but right now somthing slammed on some nice wheels thats quite and slow sounds nice...

But i think the coils are megan tracks. Not to sure i put them on a guys car a few months back and he has put maybe 100 miles on it since i put them on ( He just had a baby so theres no time to drive it) But he said i could come get them if i needed them...

Well got back to work on the thunderbird today trying to get it back up and running so ill at least have one car to drive while the 240 is down. long story short over the past few months i have "misplaced" a lot of tools, so off to sears we go, finally got home only to look under the 240 and see oil and transmission fluid in a nice big spot on the ground.

Right now im thinking maybe rear main seals? but the spot is towards the back of the transmission so im really not to sure, anyone have any experience with 24e trannys?

Basically i have made my mind up to just pull the motor and transmission and do an overhaul on it after i get the thunderbird up and running again. Seeing as every time i look at that thing theres something new wrong with it.

this sets back my goal of getting it into body work and paint but i guess its just what im going to have to do if i want this thing done right.

those are megan streets! i gots them too! theyre great! and as for the transmission theres a seal called the rear transmission seal. it goes in where the the drive slides in to. so you have to pull the shaft out to get to the seal though. its heasy to switch out just need a flat head to dig it out. and pretty cheap i'm gona say go for the oem nissan seal since they have better quality rubber seals than autoparts store and should only be like 9 bucks or so.

Yeah man for the price i couldn't pass up the megans. Needs more low in the front tho :frown:

thanks for advice on the transmission ill look into that, i didn't have time to get up under there today but i might have to check that out soon, I want to take it for a spin around the block so bad but don't have time to go put the other side on.

I will say s13 coilovers are pretty much just like s14 but i had these off and the new ones on in about 30 minutes for the front and rear on one side. I think i took me a little longer last time on the s14.

yea theyre a great price. and had mine for almost a year in january 2012. also check the little boot for the shifter that clamps on to the transmission sometimes those rip and leak fluid, like mine. its very minimal. i need a new one bad though. it barely even keeping together by like 2 inches of actual rubber.

Not happy with the way its riding it all, the rear feels like its going to jump out at any time and the front, well like i said ball joints and tie rod ends are shot all to hell...

I got all the arms and bushings orderd just waiting on all this crap to come in. I really wouldnt drive it more then a few miles the way it is right now.
