Then don't get a turbo The injectors need to be bigger to fuel the charged air, however, the stock computer doesn't know their are larger injectors in there. The car senses the rich condition in the exhaust and throws the SES light. Its cool though. It comes and goes
When we get the EMS installed and dialed in, there should be no check engine light. So you can look forward to that

Nice video Tim!!! The motor really pulls with this boost! Somehow my pocket OBDII tester read the code and erased it Thought it had to be a consultIII reader, but oh well. Anyways, the SES code is "rich condition bank 2" So im sure with the proper a/f ratio everything will be just cherry

Its times like these you wish you could just put a pump in your backyard and buy a whole crap load of fuel so you don't have to fill up at the gas station

Gas is too expensive to race without reason IMHO... it should be fairly easy to get people to pony up $$$ especially because the speed of the car isnt expected by others....

People talk a lot about racing for money, but people rarily pony up cash. If you approach someone with a brand new car, especially the coupe, they most likely dont know what it is or what its capable of, so they will feel more vulnerable. Its not that easy to race anymore, and Its even harder to find people who still race for cash. I just like it for the enjoyment that cars give me

?????? You're kidding right?? Turbo Tim's twin turbo is doing 480 at the wheels.... no way the CVT ever holds up like that!!! Right now, with 320 at the wheels, looking at BMW's entire line up...., only their M3, M4, M5, and M6 will take his car... he owns the rest of the entire BMW line up including the ZM...... yes there are other turbo charged cars out there that are faster, but right now, the list of cars he has jumped past is pretty extensive, and it hasn;t even finished being tuned yet...

I'm not a turbo person AT ALL, have never been interested in them, never wanted one.... until now... this is the first time I've even considered a turbo, but even if I do, it won;t be until next year... I love driving my car, I absolutely love it, but after driving Blake's car... I think I'm pretty sold on turbos!

The 3.5 CVT is no match for my 350Z tt.I am making almost 200 more wheel horsepower.I whoop *** on street bikes and pretty much anything that comes up against me except for maybe some crazy Supras and tubbed muscle cars.

since we're in a turbo thread.. what is it about the supras that allow so much power??? I remember in the first Fast and the furious movie, that was the car they turboed in the end... why do they have so much potential?

nearly indestructible block... (never really heard of anyone blowing a supra motor) and plus at 20+hp per sticker... dood... how can it not be so fast

also, i probably should've done my research on what exactly the newly turbocharged altima coupe had done before posting (oops, so sue me )

and to the other gentleman with the twin turbo 350z, Tim was it? you sir also have a nice car... (even more so since my friend also has a twin turbo g35... awesome pull on those bad boys)

the engine was built for turbo, the internals are very strong....some say the 2JZ engine is one of the best engines ever made, all you gave to do is up the boost (by using a stronger turbo) and do internal strengthening

Please lets not go there. The Supra is my dream car. I was looking to buy one and build it to about 600whp. It was either the Supra or a house, I went with the house and an A/C. I am very happy with my A/C...just love push start. The Supra doesn't have today's technology inside but the 2JZ engine is amazing. IMO, the Supra is better than the GTR34 Skyline. Though, I wouldn't turn one of those down either

That being said, Blake

Vinny Ten was like a Supra king back in the day and then I dont know what happened. We have heard good and bad things coming from the shop these days but we have no direct experience with them so I dont really have anything useful to say.

They look pretty quality though. If they only specialize in the VQ, they have to be doing something right in order to create enough revenue for this place

Can I assume from "smoking streetbikes" you car is running 10's? Just a question from the owner of a 'busa...

No 10's out of the Z but alot of street bikes cant run 10's or even if they can the drivers cant drive them to 10's.And I know which bikes to race and which bikes not too
