Acutally the first 2 turbo altima coupes are on the east coast. In Pennsylvania I believe. They are owned by Fox Marketingmarlin29311 wrote:Why does all the cool stuff happen on the west coast....
Anyone on the east coast with turbo that I can drool on????
I don't know for sure, but I think its around the same price as their other altima kits.BlackNWhite wrote:Woah. Is that with a discount since your car is what all his future turbo kits will be made from? How much will it retail for the next guy?
LOL, I dont get the car back until tonight. Ill make sure we get some pictures/video uploaded from Roberts house before I leave San Diegospockrock wrote:Its Monday now got an update??? LOL.....

wow this is amazing! congrats!if your do get a spread on it..see if your can recoup some of your $$ by adverstiment fees .. a companies name in a wide spread publication is major bucks....if i were you id ask doc how to get the sound of the BOV channeled into the cockpit .....cause that to me is sheer music alone!...like everyone here i cant wait to see numbers or video..adidas2go wrote:Possibly, we are talking to Dsport and Turbo magazine about doing a feature article

Glad you like the car! Im gonna have to go with a negative on the chicken wire for now. I like the intercooler to be visable, strikes fear in the heart of many Rocks aren't my immediate concern. Intercoolers are build with a much higher grade aluminum and linear ribs, made to withstand road debrisSith LL_Coupe wrote:First off, just wanted to say I love all the exterior stuff you've done to your car. It's probably one of the best looking cars on this forum, now you've got the muscle under the hood to match it! Congrats!
One a side note, you should see about covering up that new shiny (and expensive) intercooler with some mesh or something. The one thing that's always bothered me about Stillen's Front Fascia is how the radiator is exposed. Are you not worried about speeding down a road and having a rock fly into that sucker??
I thought it was the metal pipe that sticks up next to the turbo unit. LOL I thought the top part there had an adjustable on top. Its a good thing you are here to show us n00bs when we are wrong.adidas2go wrote:Boost controller is in the car. Not sure where you are seeing it in the engine.
Still dont know what your talking about lol. There are a bunch of pipes floating around the engine bay now, so you will have to circle is on ms paint or somethingspockrock wrote:

Well, we know they dyno inconsistently and really low. The Dyno shop has 4 different dynos. 2 read gear ratios, the other 2 read a straight rpm/power load. The owner seems to think we can get a good read out of it. We shall see. The tune is pre set. The fuel map has already been made for the VQ35DE Revup. We just have to program the code into the Split Second and make a few runs/tweaks on the dyno. We are mainly reading the Air to Fuel ratio to make sure it doesn't lean out at any point through the rpm range.TheBourneAltimatum wrote:holy balls that's a nice kit!but i have a question....how are you going to dyno the car.....aren't CVT's undynoable? and if you cant dyno it doesn't that mean it cant be dyno tuned properly...correct me if i'm wrong i'm just curious
hahaha no ****..... LOL.... blake -> <-meadidas2go wrote:thats the cvt fluid dipstick

DAAAYYYUUMMMM.... this thing is quick... when I was driving my car next to him, he pulled away from me pretty easily, and it just kept getting worse..
Blake should definately be running low 13's or high 12's...
OPh yeah, Turbo Tim had good stuff to say about your turbo setup also Warner!
