In this video, "http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=u7eIF4cgFx4", the guy says that you can use that carpet padding but where would that padding go? Wouldn't the carpet be really thick with that under it? Or is it just for the back seat?

I dont see it being to thick because mine actually already has it, the only isue I se is you probably would want to cut out a square where your pedals are. Due to the added thickness when you depress the pedal all the way you run the risk of getting it stuck...

man this stuff is so hard to find up here, the closest thing i found was a roll from Bakor that was 6"X10' for 17.00. I wonder if you could use something like blueskin without gettting a brutal tar smell. There seems to be an abundance of that for some reason. But ive checked like home depot all the local roofing shops. Looks like ill have to start making some calls to calgary...sigh

edit. how many sq/ft do u guys estimate it would take to do the boot, door panels and behind the doors? B-quiet is based out of my city and it might be cheaper to get some of the Bakor rolls for the trunk and then finish off the interior with good stuff that forsure wont smell.

B-quiet is 129.00 for 50 sq/ft FYI

Here is the stuff I spoke about before that you can get at napa. Its a 4x5 spaure.I told my friend about it and he bought one role of it for 25$ and he didnt want to use the whole thing so i took it off his hands for him. Ill have to get some more later though I cant neatly cover anything with this odd shaped size he gave me.

...and its just a tad short of a 1/2 inch.
