Dude, thats like a ten on the wreck scale. Glad to hear you're okay though! You are gonna have to snag something off the car to put on your next one. Rear-view mirror, seat, pine tree air freshener... anything.

Theres no way that dude would have survived that crash if he wasnt all boozed up and limber.

Man, I can see the hand of God was on your car that night. We're glad you made it through, and if you need ANYTHING, please ask us - We're family.

I appreciate it Greg I'm actually in the process of procuring a loan to purchase a vert being sold down in Florida, I just hope everything goes smoothly with that. And if EVERYTHING goes right, I won't have any money troubles by the end of all this

Well, I will be re-using the tail lights if I can get em off in one piece. I'm not sure what else is actually usable on the car though. Really need to work on getting it off that yard...

Glad your still above ground, man. That's some scary ****.

Don't sweat the car; there are more important things in life (which you probably realize better than many of us now).

I'm slowly getting my 240SX ready for sale. It's a '93 fastback in pretty good shape except for damage to the driver's side quarter panel. Feel free to shoot me an email when you're feeling better.

that is pretty intense. You're probably going to get a TON of pain and suffering money. Also, you can probably get insurance to pay for the 35 a day thing...

You are so lucky to be alive! And in a vert no less!! Wow.

How ironic that you were in a hospital sitting next to another drinker. I'm willing to bet that Olds driver was a drunk, centerline crossing usually a cause of that. I hate drunk drivers

I wish you a speedy recovery!

glad to hear your going to recover, sad to see a car that nice go, good luck getting your parts off of it, Im sure your next car will be even sweeter.

PS if the guy who hit you was drunk, and his head gets better, I would go mess it up again.

Dammit dude! I was about to say the same thing! That suck Loki, and what's with all of the wrecked 240's lately? My friend almost rearended me today. He locked up his brakes. If he had hit me... ooh, his face would be hurting. Feel better soon dude. And hit me up and we'll play some Halo or something!

Most shockingly, his butt was saved in a convertible of all things.

Thanks for all the support guys. It at least LOOKS like I'm doing better, even if my knee sure as hell doesn't feel it.

Good to see you made it out alive, that looks about as bad as my 96 Galant that got totalled by a drunk driver on the PA Turnpike.

I see a 350Z in your future, hope you had full coverage otherwise you'll get your medical expenses paid and that'll be about it unless you get a good lawyer.

Take your downtime and hop onto Forza 2 and get in the SE-R tournament, it'd be awesome to have someone on NICO win the 07 SE-R Spec V they are giving as the grand prize, especially a NICO member who needs it as bad you do.

I'll bet you'll never want a car without an airbag after that. Like Greg said forget the car, they can be replaced, as far as getting the taillights out don't worry about them, be glad you're alive, let the yard take the car, pay your yard fees and be done with it and get better and back on the road.

Oh and it's ok to be scared and skittish and overly patient when you go out driving for the first month or so, after my accident on the turnpike I'm still a little scared to drive and that was 2 years ago. People don't know how to drive anymore.

car crashes scare me

I wish you a fast full recovery, sue that sonofabitch for every last penny, buy a new vert and a 350z haha

nothing in this world makes me so upset except drunk drivers.....and rapists.....but ya regardless I hate drunk drivers, especially since they get away with it so easyily, and when caught, they get like a slap on the wrist, damn shame

damn man, that is an aweful looking crash, glad you're still with us.

If it's any comfort, the 240 beat the piss out of that Olds.

I have a friend who had a remarkably similar injury, and needed plates and screws too. Took him like 6 months to fully rehab, but he fully recovered and you can't even tell anymore save for the scars (the ladies love hearing about them even though they always kinda get grossed out ).
