I'm about 2 hours North-Northeast of you, near Lake Wallenpaupack. Wanna take a road trip and help strip my 240?

if your hip ever starts hurting you or anything for that matter when your in your 40's, get it checked asap.. my mom was in a wreck like that from a drunk driver when she was only like 16, and now being 40 that wreck is having an impact on her hip, and now she needs a hip replacement and she has really bad arthritis, at only in her 40s... good luck with recovery man.

Glad you are still alive. That was one crazy accident. Looks like the 240 came out looking alot better then the Olds. Get better and I'm sure you will have another vert very soon.

Damn bro thats nuts. Your lucky to be alive. Look at the back of the seat. Theres a metal clip that looks like something for the top. Your lucky that didn't go an inch or two lower. That would have been the back of your head.

Hey man I'm in the Lewisburg area, if you let me know what yard it's at my Dad and I could run up and get stuff off, if you want. Shoot me an email. It's about an hour and half for me, maybe less, but it's no biggie if I'm helping you out.

Dang that is crazy. Glad you are ok and get all the money you can from this guy if he was drinking and driving. My gf 2 years ago got into a wreck and the guy got 67k from her insurance agency bc he said "medical bills and loss of enjoyment of life." Yeah right.

If you're up to it, I'm up to it. I could hang out and supervise

One thing though, I'm not even sure I'm allowed to strip it yet. From what little I've heard I'm only allowed to remove aftermarket stuff if I replace the OEM stuff, which basically means my tails.

Glad to see you're recovering o.k. I always hate to see another vert off the road. I was a passenger of a car two weeks ago and we got rear ended while waiting to turn left. I think the guy was doing about 25mph and it wasn't anywhere near as bad as yours. But I can tell you I hurt bad....The car I was in was a 1970 Mini Cooper with a turbocharged Integra type R motor in the back. We just finished the turbo, took it out for a test run and ....WHAM, some 17 year old kid that was pulled over by a cop about 300 yards away drove straight into us. The damage was about $15,000....Good luck with your recovery......I am a few hours away so when you're ready for another 240 let me know. I have a coupe that I will be getting rid of.....

Well I'm glad you're both alive and in relatively good shape. As a bonus, now you have a cool battle scar!

What makes me mad is how drunk people always fair better in a wreck than a sober person. They're relaxed enough that they don't really react and tense up. That allows their body to mush around more.

Side note, I'm telling everyone I know to sell their Alero's!!!

I don't see how he lived through it, let alone walked just a few days afterwards.
