We recenlty released a new Speed Force Racing intake manifold for all year Altimas/Maximas.I dont think many people are aware of its existance. We have seen huge gains on N/A car and turbo cars.So I thought I would let people know about it.Here is a picture and the dyno chart. As you can see the power does not taper off on the top end like the stock manifold! And in some areas there is almost a 30WHP gain! For the 2008 Sedans and Coupes, the intake manifolds come with a phenolic spacer to keep the heat from transferring to the intake manifold through the engine.

These gains were after headers,exhaust,CAI.......so there are not many things that can net these type of gains on an N/A car after the typical bolt-ons have been installed.

And just to be clear....cause I dont want this thread to disappear. We are not attempting to sell this product on here, just let people know of its existance

i guess thats understandable, but before someone bought these, they would need a forced induction of some sort to really see there money really being put to use. its definitly not a going to be a mass selling item, but for those that need it, it would be a good investment probably.

wow, yeah, I noticed this but was unsure if it was for our cars or not.

If people spend $700-$1000 for exhaust which appear to give around the same gain then why not buy this?

Not exactly! These gains you see on this dyno chart are with no forced induction!!!! On a turbocharged Maxima we did the gains were 25WHP peak and gains of 40+WHP in various parts of the rpm range!

We have a 2.5L turbo system now.....However,we need ot get a Coupe or Sedan in here as some of the things are different from the 2003-2007 Altima 2.5's.So we need ot make a couple changes to the ic piping and that sort of thing.

Possible group buy? Im sure there is enough interest on here to get 10-15 sold. Since there are not many people who knew about the parts existence,I can imagine you want to get some sold.

I think a group buy would def count as exactly what Darrly and Greg are talking about... Not to Co*k Block people..... But I think Tim should go through Greg to get a group buy rate in which Greg makes some money.... Maybe he can chime in??

I'm very interested in a group buy.

Also, what "other" mods were on the test vehicle???

Tim, please contact [email protected] for any and all threads concerning sales of products or any group buy. NICO has strict rules against advertisements. I understand you are just notifying the community of this great new product but please do so in the correct manner.

Stop posting false information on these intake manifolds and update a new picture installed on a 07+ Altima. I would love to see an independent dyno. I wonder if these independent owners are actually losing power instead of gaining without a tune or FI.

Please people, be more informed and don't get suck into marketing.

This isnt false information my friend. You dont have to beleive it. Nobody is forcing you too.We will post some new pics of it installed on an 07+ very soon. This dyno was done by one of our customers. He did back to back testing on the same dyno within three hours. No tuning was done for the before or after.I am sure with some tuning the gains could have been even greater. It was NOT done in house on our Dyno Dynamics dyno.

You are posting information from an 02-06 Intake manifold and dyno. Please update your information before posting claims.

I posted all year Altimas and Maximas in my post.Yes the testing was done on 02-06.Yes we will test it out on an 07-10 six speed as the CVT is not too dyno friendly from our experience. But in the future maybe you could be a tad bit more civilized. I am not trying to come onto the forums and dupe people. I mean your response has actually made me want to pull down the thread and never come on this board again.

FYI, I have been on this forum for a long time as Speedforce180 but lost my password and for some reason the Nicolub password recovery wont email me a new password

Are you claiming you have not tested it on an 07+ now? Or are you coming to NICO to gauge interest?

Sorry, that won't happen. I don't tolerate when a company is posting inaccurate or extreme claims/information. Not only that but you promoting a product in a way, thus I will be even more strict when it comes to NICO NEW POLCIES. Yep, companies beware of me if your not a NICO sponsor/advertiser.

Yes, I know who you are and who you are on other forums.

Well your doing a great job at attracting new sponsers and vendors :dblthumb: Re-read my post my friend. I didnt make any false claims. I was letting people know that this is available. And BTW, one of the other mods that pm'd me was way cool....but you my friend are not and I dont think that I would want to be a sponser here based off of your replies. So go ahead and take this thread down and put it in the recycle bin!

You win by chasing off potential sponsers?????? Hmmmm.....maybe I am missing something. We sponser alot of baords and this could have just been another one.....................but if your the mod or owner....then you are not doing it right and this is from a business owner for 15 years.
