trayharrell951 wrote:do your research. its not added hp its hp to the wheels. totally two different things.. I drove the altima 3.5 turbo 6 speed. Great car especially with the old 350z engine in it. You guys need to stop saying ohh it would win against the 370z. Have your guys driven the 370z and a boosted 3.5. Theres like one other guy l33th41 on the forum that has driven both. Nevertheless his car was cvt.

Assumptions? I drove a boosted alti for more than 6 months and you drove one once? I've now owned my Z for a month today and while I love the car, I can say with 100% certainty that my boosted altima was quicker.
maybe its simple as you dont know how to drive your z. Who knows. what ever makes you feel better. :bs:

I'm sure he could say the same thing in return? Again, this has ventured into a "he said/she said" game. I think we can just all stop arguing about it. We'll just end up beating our heads on the wall in the end. Case closed.

This thread is all in for fun(I have said it a few times in the thread). Also I am not right or wrong. I have my opinions and comments just like anyone else who post here. Although, there is several cases of Altima owners receiving incomplete products as posted here. SFR seems like they did a great job in refunding the money or paying the shop according to Tim, but it was not a smooth process from what I heard(Danny). This should of not happened from the start to begin with if R&D and time is spent. You are making the customer do your own work. This same manifold could of turned out the same way for misleading and being vague with the first post. SFR claimed it is released and posted incorrect information. Still has yet to update this thread with the correct information. For who knows why, only he knows this answer.

Since Tim is being the better man in appologizing first. Although he could be a bit sarcastic if I would like to take it that way. But maybe this is how his personality is with all the comments he wrote to me. But, I wont. So with that being said. Tim, I do appologize coming at you in wrong approach, but I still do not like the fact you are misleading people with incorrect information. Especially hearing from Danny and a person I did not even know(Anthony). Could there be more potential people that it will happen too? Yes, if you wish to mislead people by saying 'slight' or 'little' modification. There is a recent post I saw on the 350z forum(not this one) saying this to a FX35 owner. I really hope you state the 'little' or 'slight' modifcations to the owner who is looking into buying it.

I have already contacted Greg(owner of the site) an hour ago. I clearly told him, SFR, possible new vendor. I requested him to chime in this thread as well. Hopefully he has the time to do so.

Let's recap this thread:

1) Tuner Tim, who works for a tuning company known to some as Speed Force Racing, has decided to reveal his presence to the world via the NICO Altima Coupe forums.
2) Tuner Tim has been working feverishly on a new product, an Intake Manifold from his company, Speed Force Racing, for a Nissan Altima.
3) Several sources have reported several different findings related to the revelation of this intake manifold, including dyno results from a 2002-2006 model Nissan Altima.
4) Another source has given a sample image of this intake manifold, which appears to be from an inline six cylinder engine not originally found in any Nissan Altima ever produced.
5) This just in - This is a forum for the Nissan Altima Coupe. This car was first produced for model year 2008.
6) In related news - 2006 happened two years before 2008.
7) No one here really wants an intake manifold - they just want a goddman aftermarket clutch.
8) $1000 says my d!ck is bigger than yours.
9) As of the third day of this post, no one knows anything further about the intake manifold originally discussed. It has been found that credibility of the original poster has been questioned.
10) "Show me pictures of this installed please?" Response:"HOW DARE YOU QUESTION MY AUTHORITY!"
11) We build bad a$$ parts.
12) AFTERMARKET CLUTCH.
13) Make up sex.
14) I like Turtles.
15) Somewhere in here, a thread about a new part turned into a lynch mob, then a d!ck measuring contest, then a Maury Povich lie detector episode.. I think I'm going to throw up.

Goddanm I love the internet.

Yeah, it's starting to be a pretty long read. God, I hope it doesn't become like that 30+ page BullyDog thread.

And wow Xenon, that's pure gold there, lmao.

Ok.My post was a bit sarcastic but the apology was real and I will change the name of the folder that has the pics on the link I posted too!!!!! Now can we be friends? And maybe this weekend I can upload the photos of the intake installed on the 08' Altima:biggrin: As far as Dannys car goes...Again, there was a lack of communication between SFR and RT tuning on this! It was that simple! We built a kit that fits perfectly on a 2006 2.5L Altima and shipped it to them and then Matt called and said, some of the stuff isnt going to work. And being that they fab,I am sure they figured out that they could build some of the less important stuff like piping,etc...and make a decent chunk of change, No problem. Send back what you dont want. They had already ordered the kit with no ECU because they were going to tune with Uprev. So that is the stroy with Dannys car from our standpoint!

Anthony bought a kit for the 3.5L CVT and he had a six speed. We worked it out.Our parts fit on their intended applications but like I said in another post. There are three different 2.5L applications now!!! and there are five different 3.5L applications with another 2 3.5L applications to conquer. It is very easy to get the wrong parts if you order and dont specify the specific application and year!!!!!!!!

Yep, the only way I could tell by is how you have been replying back. Being sarcastic most of the time. Sure we can be friends, once I see the new correct information. Please, put it in details as well. Like I have said in this thread, I would love to see it. As for Danny, I really won't argue with you on that, it is not my job too. But all I can say it is a bit of a different story from he has told me. You won't see him posting anytime soon since he has eye surgery.

Okay, let me just ask you these question.
-Do you have a 2007+ Altima Sedan and Coupe 2.5s turbo application?
-Do you have a 2007+ Altima Sedan and Coupe 3.5SE turbo application?
-If so, what are these part numbers for people who are interested?
It seems this is only way to get answers from you and hopefully this will eliminate the errors in communication.

Got it.Will do.

As for Danny, I really won't argue with you on that, it is not my job too. But all I can say it is a bit of a different story from he has told me. You won't see him posting anytime soon since he has eye surgery.

I understand.it was a weird situation. He wants a turbo kit, waits four weeks to get it,it isnt for his specific application, the shop has to scramble to figure it out,it takes more time.I can see how it would be tough from his standpoint.I am in complete agreeance from that standpoint! But in a nutshell there was a miscommunication between our two shops. And more then likely it was because I had listed the wrong years of applications on our website :frown:

Okay, let me just ask you these question.
-Do you have a 2007+ Altima Sedan and Coupe 2.5s turbo application?

Yes.But before we sell it we want a test car in here for fitment!

-Do you have a 2007+ Altima Sedan and Coupe 3.5SE turbo application?

Yes for CVT and six speed.

-If so, what are these part numbers for people who are interested?
It seems this is only way to get answers from you and hopefully this will eliminate the errors in communication.

You posted this same slant 2 eye feline 2 weeks ago with the caption "I are serious cat, this thread are serious." So why are you changing his catch phrase and using the same image from the previous catch phrase? Dont you think that Serious Cat has already let people know about the internet being serious business? You could have quoted Xzibit if that is all you wanted to convey.

Its pretty clear that you have a generic photo of a slant 2 feline and are making claims and projecting your opinion of this thread by photoshopping catch phrases in motiviational poster fashion.
