Go out and get a hooker. Just don't think about sex with your ex while you're getting crabs.

i went through the same thing years ago. i know what its like, but try to get some perspective.

the one thing i hate more than the memory of my ex is the memory of what a complete puss i turned into in the months following the end of the relationship.

you will too, eventually, so speed up the process and put yourself on the market, get a new hobby and for Christ's sake stay away from any music that makes you feel sorry for yourself. select something fast, hard, and that does NOT get played on FM radio.

nu-metal does not count. try Probot to get a feel for some various genres and styles. branch out to whatever you like the most.

OK. So I went to Coggin Nissan on Atlantic Jacksonville this Sunday. And after almost being ripped off $10K by them I got into finishing the specs for the next S16.

Specs are similar to thisExcept with Inline 4 Turbo and without a Humpback.

http://www.rx8club.com/showthread.php?t=130935

Pic - Just loose the free style doors and add in a Hatch like Celica 2000+.

And for those who say most people here in Nico can't afford new car, I fall in the lower middle on the forum population and I can afford a 2008 RX-8 for $25K (non-GT).

I'll wait and see what Nissan will do with their cut-up 350Z test mule. For now the RX-8 runs pretty sweet for me and a bit faster than my KA24DE S13. A single Turbo and ECU would bring it to 370 wHP. On handling it can out corner a 350Z.

No, 100% seriously, most of Nico either cannot or will not buy a new car. I'm one of them. I'm in college, my current status as an M1 visa student prevents me from getting a job in the US, and I'm not rich yet. new car-not in my budget.

I skipped most of the thread because the options you were trying to throw on the new S-chassis were ridiculous!

Let's just go with- the same options the S15 had but redesigned and updated.RWD I4 (this is the SOUL, the very ESSENCE of the S-chassis)a baseline N/A model - no sunroof, no power windows or doors, just bare bones.a baseline turbo model- exactly as above, but with turbo (and more power duh)

a mid trim N/A model-same power as baseline (maybe a bit more) with all the creature comforts.mid trim turbo - same as base turbo with creature comforts.

Spec S- Creature comforts, hi-performance susp, aero, bumped up power, valve timing, better interiors(race seats etc.)Spec R- Creature comforts, larger turbo, aero, suspension, valve timing, better interior

That's always been the recipe more or less. and if you want to revive a car, you don't dishonor it's roots and head in a totally different direction going all crazy with completely different engines, drive trains and whatnot.

Nah, 2.5L 175HP engine from the new Altima is good enough and mated with 6-speed from 350Z it'll be great. Turbo is a no brainer to add on. A small turbo on the 2.5L wuld spool quicker and reduce lag. Won't make big numbers at the end but it'll make quick 0-60 time.he trick is the emissions and gas milage. That's why RX-8 has no Turbo by factory. It runs rich enough as is to reduce hydro-carbon emissions.I'm planning a Japanese RX-8 ECU flash to increase gas milage and power.

It would be nice to see another lightweight, rwd, cheap sports car from Nissan but unfourtunately we are very much a minority. These days we have to have eco friendly cars with optional features that cater to a broader spectrum of environmentally conscious people that are looking for the basics.

Nissan did make a huge leap with the Altima coupe but they still have a ways to go.

well true even thu its barely faster than teh ka, it redlines at 9k, is very smooth and responsive and handles like a beast

ehh im just not a huge fan of where new cars are going in general. they're all bigger and not and sleek and simple as older cars like the 240, mr2, rx7, etc
