I too am interested in these. On their site http://www.rotawheels.com/wheels.asp?wheelid=31 they have 17x9 with a +25 offset and a +12. which offset would be better looking and fit well?

I'd get the lower offset. But you could do like Bushido and call them for a custom set of 17x9.5+15.

I think thats the optimum size for an s13. And if enuff ppl order that size, they may add it to their list of stocked sizes.

Would the 17x9.5 +12 need any spacers or pulls? He mentioned something about banging the wheel walls in, Which I dont wanna do. I want it to be flush and I dont mind rolling the fenders a lil bit.

no spacers, a roll, an aggressive stretch and maybe a slight pull

What would you consider an aggressive stretch?

I'd stretch some 225/40's on there like Bushido did with his 18's.

I bet you wouldn't need to do all that wheelwell work with 17's. But I could be wrong though. But I do know +12 will poke out. You'll want either a good roll+pull or flares or overfenders. Don't let that scare you though homie! Go for it and post pics!

It'll fit and it'll look good. But it won't look as aggressize or as good as Bushido's. Kinda like the Nismo 350z's LMGT4's that you see on ebay.

But for real... 17x9.5+15 sounds like a winner if you can wait the 6 months for custom orders...

how much do you think they'll stick out?

And what about the P45F's. Will they stick out with the 17x7.5 +12? I like those better because they come with a polished lip. Im painting the middle piece anyway, I just prefer to have a polished lip.

17x9.5+12's should stick out about 3mm more than Bushido's, which isn't bad. A little pull and it'll look great.

Honestly, I completely ignore the p45f, so I have no idea. I didn't even know they had a +12 available. It might look cool, but I absolutely refuse to drive on such skinny wheels anymore and the +12 is only available in the 17x7.5.

Maybe you can call them for a custom 17x8.5 (or higher)+12 p45f? I'm thinking that this wheel style won't have the concave face, but will instead have a fat lip. And that would be hot.

Ya I probably will try and contact them and see what they can do. What off set would you recommend to a plush look with a roll?

Im new to the whole 240 scene but when you say pull do you mean literally tug on the fenders?

Only 17s in 4 lug are 17x9.5 +15. I just got a set today of 17's (I ordered 18's so waiting on those too) from #1 Rota dealer there is, and he said they only have like 2 sets that they recently got in (custom made from Rota), and the only sizes that Rota makes for 4 lug is 18x9.5 +15 and 17x9.5 +15. The only color for 4 lug is Full Royal Sports Bronze too.

Here are some pics of the 17x9.5 +15 Rotas (not what I ordered but still, soon Ill get my 18s!) Enjoying them while they last! :D

Thanks, they sent me the wrong wheels (I ordered 18x9.5 +15 but got 17x9.5 +15) so I'm going to send those back. The 17s are I think 800 or so, but I paid 900 shipped for my 18s. Alittle steep for these wheels but remeber they are 4 lug, custom ordered from Rota, good offset, + the weight is decent. (17's weight 20lb) 4 lug 4ever

Once my 18s get here I'm going to go with 245/40/18 don't know what brand yet, but not the best def, Im short on money. (probably bridgestone or maybe falken)

20lbs? Wow. Thats lighter than I thought.

Plz don't send them back. Sell them to someone who wants them. And trust me, plenty of ppl want them...

Buy another set with the money you make. Just a suggestion...

I'd gladly do so, but I doubt anybody would want "Rotas" for 800 or so bucks.. Personally, I think the wheels should get alittle bit more respect, especially of their decent weight and good design (so what if its a knock off of Nismo) but who wants to pay 2+ g's for a set of wheels that are probably going to get messed up in 2-3 years anyway? (curb rash etc, depends on your driving style) Oh its a knock off it must be bullsh** wheel, honestly, the average guy wouldn't know a difference between the two, even some 240 owners (at least where I live). Its because of the "name", there are bunch of drift cars out there that use p45r's with good success.

Btw it took me almost 4 months to save up for a set, plus 2 months of waiting

I got quoted $895, so yeah, I'd pay $800 for a set (and will!). I would like the price to come down of course, but at roughly half the price of LMGT4's, I should stop b****ing.

I'm gonna guess that Bushido had to do that hammering because he used a 40 profile tire on 18's. Thats a little larger than s13's wheel+tire diameter is designed to be. Maybe he wouldn't have had to do that if he went with a 35 prifile tire, but most ppl don't like tires that thin. I know I don't.

If you go with 17's and a 40 profile tire, your total diameter would be the same as stock. So to answer your question, I believe that whether you will need to hammer your wheel wells is dependant upon your tire size and how low you're dropped.

But the buttom line is, it isn't really all that much work to fit these. But if they rub, just raise your car a little, till you fix it.

17x9 +25 would be very very iffy on clearing front suspension with coilovers. Springs/struts, definitely no. But you shouldn't be going for fitment like this without coilovers anyways...

Well, that was for a staggered set of 17x9 +25 and 17x9.5 +12, nothing custom. So you may not have been hustled.

Most of us just seem to be contacting the North American Distributor directly. This is from Rotawheels.com contacts page. GL.

I'm going to pick up a set, 17x9 +25 ($189 ea.) and 18x9.5 +15 ($199 ea.) Bronze of course too. I was really suprised that there wasn't like any price difference between sizes.
