Just curious if Rota P45R's will fit on a S13, I am aware that they only make them in 18'' (correct me if Im wrong). Just wondering if they would fit on a S13 or if they will need a spacer to clear susp.

Also, if anyone could post some pics of the on a S13 I would be greatly appreciative.

Thanks.

But I do... Anyone know if spacers or pulls were required? And they clear Z brakes, right?

The P45R in 4 lugs are only available with a +30 offset in 18''x9.5''. The pictures you showed of that white s13 is a 4 lugs with +30 offset. Does the owner got spacer of 15mm in the rear to make it that flush? Otherwise, in 5 lugs they are available in +12 offset.

no.... they can do special offset and size request through group buys. Not a lot of owners have the balls to run an agressive size, thus the reason why they don't sell the +15 naturally, the market isn't large enough. Every now and then I see group buys for the agressive offset as long as they meet their minimal customer quota.

ok that's how he got theses. It's just as for the Rota Grid 16x8 +10 a little while ago, they were only available in special order but now they are fully available. Maybe if demands is strong enough, Rota could mass produce them.

Hey dudes,

Let me clear up some confusion. The wheels are a custom order, it took over 6 months to receive them and I'm waiting on another set in 17x9.5 +15 to arrive.

I chose 18x9.5 +15 as they are the optimal offset for s13. I have 2 mm between the wheel and coilover in the front.

The wheel wells were hammered extensively to create clearance at steering lock. Driver side fender was removed and the harness was ziptied up out of the path of the tire. All fender lips were hammered flat. the rear fender was rolled 2-3mm to create a little more clearance, as the wheel lips were rubbing on the fender lips.Tires are Federal ss595 225/40/18. Alignment spec is unknown, castor is buped up slightly, camber is maxed out on Part shop max coilovers.

Hopefully this answers all your questions.

Thank you, thank you and thank you!!!

How about the rear? How much space do you have between coilover and the wheel?

I think offset +15 is custom size. What other offsets do they have for the rear? I trying to find best offset forthe rear wheel.

18x9.5+15 is now a regually stocked size for 4x114.3 lugs. However, the 17x9.5+15 that he is currently waiting on is not. That's probably custom and it's the size I'd prefer too over having 18's or the other choice of 17x9.5+12. Kudos to Bushido for pioneering and getting all this info for us!

I don't know about the rear coilover clearance though.

BTW, I just noticed Bushido's got the painted Ebay tails light I'm planning too! Nice!

Rota makes the 18x9.5 +15, but they don't stock that size often.

I find it odd that they don't offer the 17x9.5 +12 in 5 lug but it's available for 4 lug.

Bushido, those are very nice for cheap wheels. How heavy exactly are they? Are we taking epic failure heavy, or just heavy?

Me wants 17x9.5 + 12 all around

From what I've read, especially from that groupbuy thread on Zilvia and other places online, the p45r's only weight about 22.5 lbs. By comparison, Ray's Forged LMGT4's in the same size weigh about 21.5 lbs.

These aren't like sportmax's at all...
