Awesome let us know what you find out. I'm sure you know more about this than I do because I'm pretty new to NICO, but I saw on some other threads that the group buys have to be handled through a moderator or admin? Maybe that's who you are talking about.

I've been planning on getting this since it was announced... but have been wondering...

Will this change the sound of the stock exhaust at all hopefully in a good way??

The quality of the exhaust looks okay, nothing special from the picture. Don't know if thats the final production picture though. I would like to see bigger pictures of the production. I will probably need to wait for someone on here to post a picture when he/she receives it. Since Racingline hasn't even posted a picture of their dyno sheets.

I previously owned a 3rd gen altima and it was a quality part and it certainly produced both whp and torque which was quoted. I dynoed 232whp/ 233wtq.

I would tend to believe the results on this one will yield at least 10 whp

When will we be able to place an order?

There's no 'buy' option on the site

I don't doubt the power. The most restricted part of the exhaust is the downpipe and y-pipe for many Nissan vehicles equip with the VQ.

The quality of the exhaust looks okay, nothing special as I said earlier. The flanges and hangers could of been more solid. The welds are not the best. Overall its still a quality product, but could of been better imo.

Mehdi, I take it we are not getting a group buy rate for this Y-pipe? Let me know if you ever heard back from him.

I was going to wait for a possible group buy, but the price is a little lower than I expected and they have free shipping, so I figured I may get just as good of a deal now than waiting for a group buy that may or may not ever happen. Oh, and I'm impatient when it comes to waiting for new toys

so... where is the group buy on this? how did that fall through or not happen?

and after waiting 6 months, our intro 'special price' is 4% off, with a 'free shipping' offer thats be offered across the board for all racingline products?

dont get me wrong, i love the products but ... am i the only one thats disappointed?

No one said there would not be a group buy, I just know that Mehdi mentioned he was going to talk to them about setting up a group buy for us, but he already bought it, so I was just curious if they responded to him saying no to the group buy.

I would rather get it at the group buy price myself too. Only thing is, I just ordered the Nismo cat-back exhaust and wouldn't mind installing the new Y-pipe at the same time as the exhaust, since I'll already be working on it.

I didn't get back a reply yet about the Groupbuy, and about another email I sent them yesterday. I don't know if there is going to be one, since this is a hot item and all the y-pipes are going to get sold anyhow. but technically it's still not "bought" nothing's been charged yet for me sooo

That installation sheet is the same as their previous gen y-pipe.

Racingline please post a hi-res picture of your production 07+ Altima y-pipe.
