Saturday I had a day off for the family reunion, but seeing as I would have had to be back from pittsburg to lanc for the autoX by 7:30 am I was allowed to skip it. Sucks that I missed it but oh well, there'll be more.

So I spent the day setting up my car and sheit! Self alignment. 0 toe rear, total of 1* toe out front. basic -1* camber all around, should probably fix that...Tires on: They're the wrong size, 205/65 series sidewall... Oh well I'll use em for daily driving maybe... But they need 5mm spacers to clear j30 sliders.

So I pulled out the old standby wheels had the super drift angle one re mounted without the dirt in the sidewall. It was no charge.(XXR 16x8 +-0mm offset, tires 195/50/16 stretch. Expect about a 5mm drop in overall car height because of the tire being stretched overall diameter is compensated)I washed the car, paint matched the lip w/ clear coat and reinstalled, not in this pic tho.

As of now all 4 of my old rims are on. It looks TITS, I need a fender roller, but pbm is so strong I don't rub lol.

AutoX i forgot my front strut damper adjusters. facepalm. Also wasn't sure what tire pressure to use so I ran with 32front/30. Seemed like I could go lower in the front because tire marks weren't on the sidewall, and the rears can use more neg camber because I got more wear on the outer edges. It was fun, but I came in last for my class LOL. technically 6th. I was not too happy, but I was just there to have fun and try2learn.2 swapped civics beat me fail, I was in the SM class because of the motor swap. Lotus elise was the class winner I believe.

I was the announcer in the 2nd heat for my volunteer work. Entertaining, for those who know me yes lol. Also picked up cones in the 4th heat bc nubs didnt stay to do their jobs.

I'll try to get a pic of it w/ all 4 wheels on today. Pic later this evening after work.

This is the side that got pelted with white paintballs clay barred and polished. All cleaned up. Such a simple look with the old school style rims. I <3 it. Rear bumper needs a respray as well.Pic taken before work. Doug has a better pic of later today even tho the car was on a weird slope/driveway.See you in the blackout build thread! lol

Hell no man, that's the supersex JDM location! I'd rather ppl who see my car and wonder "what is that?" that they can figure out what it is and be like oh, cool. Lol w/e. I'll probably do tie rods 2morrow.

BTW I polish my muffler like once a month. Keeps the deposits off it.

I'm beginning to question my quest for low. The frame is rly low because of the wheels even though there is maybe a 3/4" gap. Started to scrape exhaust today on some ruts... eeep. Just minimal though, all in fun as of now.

Come on Tom, you know you wanna drop that a** some more.

I got the courage and decided to drop my rear more. Even with the coils practically frozen in place, I got the passenger side done with some wacking. Now im in the middle of trying to get the driverside one done but the bastard wont budge. I need a bigger hammer. haha

Anywayz, your ride is looking clean

Thanks Dale. May I suggest you use the spanner wrench and hitting it with a hammer when trying to move the perch/mount nuts. You probably already know this though. Kiet originally told me to use a screwdriver on the nut and hit that but I was like noes, I can get more torque w/ the supplied wrenches hehe. Thus, my coils haven't budged from when I set them up. I did lower the front a bit more on saturday to even it out better.

In my quest to try and stop the hatch light from staying on even when closed, I overtorqued a nut and broke a stud on the hatch latch. No worries, just drilled it out and inserted a new 10mm bolt through it. Hatch door ajar light still wont stay non lit, it's very dim but still lit. The wear on the plastic that depresses the button over time has killed its ability to throw the switch completely.

So I'll just live w/ it. Very easy to do this though guys. Just another example of the hurdles you may encounter that can be easily surpassed.

I need to bust out the real camera. Interior is looking better. I'll show u tomorrow.

Bumnah has a good point LOL.

I haven't done so because wellllllllllllllllll let's just say my dome light, radio power and trunk light get 1v of power...

*Wheels are XXR 16x8" +-0mm offset. Tires: 195/50/16

Until I fix the fuse block ( i can see electrical error evidence ) I'm leaving it in in case I do something right and the circuit works somehow. There is what looks to be a ground wire that was cut. I need to look under Dougs car to compare.

Since I bumped the thread here's some dope a** pics. At dusk.OK so yea the pics suck I was probably moving and it got blurry, but I tried!Front atm 'fitment.' Dents give your car character. Note the lip color is corrected.

Once I get a good roll on these fenders and 1 more degree of camber (currently at -1 all around) AND I install some type of oil pan skid plate... I'll close/negate the wheel gap.At that point I'd better not need to enter the driveway anymore lol.

Neg camber is great for auto X. I needed more of it. You can tell by reading my tires. It's also great because it makes the wheels look like they're going to fall off, and if your wheels look like they're going to fall off, you win.

HI BILLY MAYS HERE WITH THE OIL PAN PROTECTOR!

Lol too soon Billy. I wish I could be considered to fill his shoes...

So today I made an oil pan skid plate out of a sweet street sign I acquired from a parking lot with white comet some years ago. It's about the size of a speed limit sign maybe smaller.

Mocked it up, bent it in the middle around the sway bar.I used a bar of aluminum bar stock across the rear bolted in to secure the rear because it wasn't wide enough for the OEM plastic air duct bolt locations.

I made a larger bar stock the bend from the center rad core support bolt down to the existing hole in the street sign. This is a flat view to get an idea of bolt head clearance. Really nice!

Topside view: b****in'

Bottom side mock up from earlier when the sun was higher: Don't worry, I didnt bend it on the sway bar, it has about an inch clearance. I bent it after I noted the location. The extra small hole by the front bolt is for a 10mm but I decided I didn't need it.

Sick. Now I can go lower with confidence! Total cost was probably about 5 bucks because of the aluminum and new hardware (which i already had though).

Yeah as long as you get it from non public property you don't run as much of a risk with the DOT. Just saying.

3 mounting bolts make it extremely removable for oil changes or whatever other reasons I may have to do so. Personally, I'm really impressed w/ the way it came out.

Been scraping sh on sh the past week. Ruts in the road meeting mah new pan deflector win. Also I'm learning how to plan my route around non level intersections.

Put this on a few days ago. I've been helping out the local 240 guys recently, so no real updates. DC sports CS-2 strut brace! Naed240sx thank you sir!

The missing link in the front suspension is gone. I'm sure I could benefit from a jonny fraz lower brace, but this will have to do for now. No pivot points, and it's really light considering it's steel . FTW.

I have to refinish this bar and paint the VC. I have plenty of time to do so until we hopefully get a legit photoshoot for everyone at once. All lanc and york ppl hopefully. My rents are housing a french exchange student for a month... Dunno how old she is but HMMMMMMMM lol...

edit hahaha dougs sig is hilarious. I'm sorry doug you know u like the XXR wheels at least how they look! lol u kids.

I also fixed up and sold the sentra finally. Felt kinda emo for a few hrs. I'll get another b13 daily someday MAYBE, but I'd like to stay at least rwd from now on. Great car though, I'd just rather not afford the 2x insurance/tags/etc.

OK so this is a HEAVY PICture update. Real cam pics so OMG beware.

Today I did the following to get ready for hopefully having off the 19th to autoX once again:Royal purp 10w-40 and the pure one purolator filter of course.PBM tie rod spacers install with new s13 tie rods thx keegan.Re-set camber to more aggressive and re-aligned the whole car.

First let's get today's phone pics out of the way:Yes milk jugs are a great way to carry 3.5qt of SR change oil to your oil recycling center!

Pic of the spacer installed on the new s13 inner tie rod, of course I used red loctite threadlocker! My outers are shot, so I plan on picking up a full s14 tie rod setup later this summer, maybe a few weeks.

Decorated the skid plate for the hell of it. I had these sticks sitting around hehehehehe. It's seen some action from horse poop to speed bumps lately.

Rest is pics of what I did saturday refinishing the strut brace and taking much needed pics of my interior and close up engine shots.

I used a pin and a BFH to remove the pop rivet that holds this decorative label on. This is the steel version obviously so the original powder coat was so thin it was starting to surface rust. I didn't waste any time refinishing it.

Sanded. Left on the hot driveway to speed up dry time.

Primer, but only in the areas where I sanded to bare metal and rust may have been showing. The less paint the less chances of cracking guys. NOTE: this is my neighbors backyard and our 2ft behind the fence where I store things like you see here lol. But are they growing marijuana? Or are these lookalike plants? I texted it to a knowledgeable friend but he didn't respond.

New coat of grey. I wanted to keep it sort of the same color as it comes in because it enhances the beefyness look LOL.

Clearrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr

It's on, and a properly pixellated picture of the bay: I bought some new pop rivets the same size and it was instinctual how to use them after removing. My dad had an old pop rivet tool lying around, nice!

The BOV location and OG-ness. Pimp the pink jdm vac line y().

Intake side, showing close up of my MBC setup and pipingpro.com intake hard pipe.

Frontal interior for yall.

Non clean rear interior mainly for teh drftboyyyy!

Behind my seat: I like this setup I wish it WORKED! Freaking audio wiring is burnt up atm. I don't know that for sure but the fuse block is. F the last last owner man.

I'll try to get real exterior update shots as well later this week .

OH tie rods feel GREAT

Oh and keegs, sry man my monday was booked by me. I finished by sundown so I'm sorry. Thursday is my next day off and I'm hitting up OCMD for a day if anyone else wants in. If that falls through I'll call u.

I forgot to mention I'm running camber of -2.5~3* up front and -2* in the rear this time around. Going to bring my damper adjusters this time too

Real exterior pics today. Thought I'd treat you guys to shots in the heart of farmland Amish country on my way to work hehehe. I run over tons of horse poop daily because the tourist buggy rides use these roads heavily, it sucks.

I messed up the pic with the swirler and I'm too lazy to get it re uploaded so here ya go.

This pic is dope, but idk about the lighting.

Probably my new sig pic. I've never had a side shot pic.

Hope u like. Touge factory sticker on the front lip fyi.Good enough for now, but that rear bumper needs attention stat.On 2nd thought, baddd lighting. I'll have to try again later w/ someone who's good at picture taking lol..
